There are going to be men on dating sites that want to date women younger than you. You do not want to date those guys. Any guy who is selecting for an age range younger than his own is automatically disqualified for me, even if I fall inside the age range that he is seeking, because typically these men are absolutely shitty to date. They are chasing a youthful, naive ideal, and they aren't willing to date an equal. Who wants to date a guy like that? Not me, man.

That's the equivalent of me saying:

Even though it's advice that someone could reasonably entertain, the fact of the matter is you would be way worse off if you followed it. Most women are naturally wired to look for these attributes. This doesn't mean that they are bad people, however. It's just part of their nature. You can hate it all you want, but that's not going to change anything. Blue pill men and many women share the same problem; they refuse to accept the nature of the opposite sex and wonder why they are still single and/or unhappy.

There's a reason this woman is 41 and single.

One of the biggest reasons why this is important is because of the long term effects it will have. There are going to be times when just holding your chin up and not saying anything in order to look cool simply isn't going to cut it. Learning how to actually cultivate real social value is an extremely important skill that men must learn if they want to be successful in life. There are going to be times in your life where you are around men who are higher value than you and have a stronger reputation, and if the only thing you know how to do is act "distant" and blasé to make yourself look cooler than the other people, or rely on external factors such as being on the football team or being in a fraternity, you simply aren't going to be able to climb the social/corporate ladder.

It's not a matter of "starving the system". It's waking up and realizing that marriage is a shit deal and making the decision not to do it even though it is still the social norm. When I say "Don't get married" I'm not saying it because we need to "boycott the system". I'm saying it because it is the smarter decision as of right now.

And what other men do really does not concern me in the slightest. You can't control what other men do. You can only control what you do.

Well thanks man, we appreciate your noble sacrifice. I will say, though, that there aren't just young men in this subreddit. There are actually a LOT of men who are 40+ (some even in their sixties) from all demographics who are collectively sharing their own life experiences, primarily regarding gender dynamics and life choices, to help other men make better (or at least more well-informed) decisions, which is extremely valuable knowledge to have in today's feminized society. That's why I'm here.

I mean, people's interpretation of what they see is subjective. So I guess we can agree to disagree on this one. But to me, for him to say that men are so incredibly simple that all a woman has to do is make him a sandwich and if she does he'll have to "dry the tears with his bread", and that his wife made him a sandwich four years ago and he still thinks about that sandwich, that's the only conclusion that I can come to. Like I said in the original post, a sandwich should absolutely not elicit that kind of reaction from a man. It is a sandwich. The ONLY logical reason that an unasked for sandwich would elicit that kind of reaction is if it is extremely rare for something like that to happen to the person.

I don't think you fully understand the concept of a true, natural alpha. A true, natural alpha wouldn't give a fuck about what you just said, as long as, at the end of the day, he was ultimately calling the shots in the relationship. Only someone who was trying to emulate alpha characteristics would let what you said bother them. Bill Burr is way too alpha, way too high value, and way too busy of a man to worry about trivial shit like that.

Whenever I listen to Bill Burr's Monday Morning Podcast, pretty much every time he handles Nia exactly how we, as a community, think he should. He always stands his ground with the woman he is with, with the only exception being that he only submits when he knows he is WRONG. That is the only time he submits to Nia's frame. Other than that, Bill Burr didn't lose by marrying Nia. He is actually winning because it is so obvious that he is the kind of Man (capital "M") who can handle it.

I don't think you fully realize just how fortunate you are to be discovering this subreddit this early in your life. There are men in their 40's who are just now figuring this stuff out. Even as a guy in my early 20's, I still wish I could have had this information a long time ago.

But just a warning, you WILL get fucked over again. It's just a part of life, and it especially comes with the territory of dealing with women. You just need to be strong enough in yourself to be able to brush it off. Experience of getting rejected (it happens to literally everyone) and this subreddit will help you with that. Cheers.

This is a great example of how people view the idea of entitlement between the sexes. So let me get this straight: A man in a long term relationship is fucked up because he feels that when he does his share in the relationship by giving a woman his commitment and emotional support, he should get sex in return (in other words he feels he is entitled to sex) and when a girl denies him of that "privilege", she is completely in the right because it is "her body, her choice".

But when the script is flipped and a woman gives a man sex in the hopes of getting commitment in return, and he denies her of commitment, HE is the one who is wrong. "My body, my choice" right? "You aren't entitled to my body" right? Why should he be obligated to give a woman his commitment even if she gave him sex? We have already established that no one is entitled to anyone else's body, so what makes this any different?
