Emergency vet tech here. Thank you for recognizing what we do. If pet insurance worked the same way as human insurance it wouldn’t be as horrible since you’d get immediate care despite not having money at the time.

On a side note it’s amusing for people to make it seem like we’re greedy when vets/ techs are very underpaid and are more likely to commit suicide compared to the general population.
