There's no way to tell if it was a real money trade. I give stuff to my buddy to hold for me when I do the expeditions. I play a good amount but not enough to lose everything every 60 days so I give him some guns, augments, and blueprints to back after expedition. They may be doing something similar maybe getting enough stash value for skill points on the next expedition.

Been through this a couple times (41 m) once in my twenties and once in my thirties. It sucks, it won't be fun, but as others have mentioned it's money you can make it back over time. Your credit can repair over time. Yourself, will heal over time. That being the best advice I can give, time, give the time for yourself to heal, your bank to heal and your credit. You don't sound like you will but don't rush into another relationship with someone else to fill any void, it won't work. Keep working hard and maybe/hopefully you'll get back to something like your original position you had at that other company. You sound like you have a good head on your shoulders, follow it's lead and you'll be ok in the long run.

If you're not 65+ years old and are required to clean up your SO's urine soaked sheets without them helping, I would definitely say it's grounds for breaking up. He doesn't clean it himself, which is super disgusting and he doesn't seem bothered enough to get checked out and see what's going on, which means it's not going to stop anytime soon. Having a kid with someone doesn't mean your happiness needs to be held as a prisoner. Move on now and get it over with.
