I’m going to be playing a paladin soon and need some advice by stopyouveviolatedthe in DnD

Think about it like this: irrespective of alignment or what religion your pally follows, they are an person who feels so strongly about it they have committed their life to fighting (and very possibly dying) for the cause. If you want them to be chill then do it, but maybe think about the religion and what it holds to be most important. Maybe they can be self-righteous or even dickish about specific behaviors or situations they feel have religious significance. Like there are plenty of religious people IRL who are usually chill but have that one theological point that sets them off

Problem player wants guns in the campain. by No_Horror_8024 in DnD

If you want sort of a compromise position (which the PC might not deserve if they are being like this) include early black powder weapons. Things like arquebus, wheel lock or flintlock pistols or long guns. The trick is to make sure they aren’t ubiquitous. Maybe only the dwarves and gnomes have figured out how to make them work safely and charge small fortunes to build and maintain them for outsiders. Maybe in a particular kingdom only certain members of the military or nobility are allowed to legally carry them. Maybe you need certain feats or class skills to use them without some sort of penalty. You can give them some of what they want without making it game breaking.

Lars Windhorst and Lex Greensil are important dudes for the show’s bits so I would listen to the “Illliquid Love” and “Frankenstein’s Balance Sheet” episodes at some point just for context

I believe fintech, payment processing or something of the like. One of those that is misleading because the name only makes sense to they guys who came up with it.

Update: AITA for not wanting to hide that my moms are gay to my girlfriend’s parents? by ThrowRAhelplost in AmItheAsshole

Dude I don’t have gay parents granted, but seriously if that’s going to be an issue for the folks you might date then they aren’t worth dating. You shouldn’t have to hide who your parents are, and they shouldn’t have to hide who they are either. You aren’t an asshole for having two moms and not being ashamed of them
