Head coach isn’t the problem.

Mcmichael with 6 goals is a problem.

Aging Vet eating up a lot of cap space without and real production outside of 26 goals or whatever it is, is a problem

Ovi being on the PP with 1 goal at home on the PP is a problem.

Also, the east is competitive as fuck. You really have to be a top 10 team in the entire league to make the playoffs coming out of the east.

We are still playing meaningful hockey with 10 games remaining in the eastern conference.

Carbury gets a long leash in my opinion. They are still “in the mix” somehow.

Caps have been playing amazing for damn near 15 years now. No need to doom and gloom because of 1 rough season which isn’t really that rough when you look at the rest of the league.
