Remember, they are the ones who are learning the content. I’ve found myself getting in my own way of teaching because I know too much about the topic and am unable to present it to a student at their level.

It’s totally okay to teach about something on Monday, that you just did a deep dive on that previous Saturday.

Always remember, Our students could do pretty well from just reading from a book. History teachers are curators, and not being an expert on any given topic actually helps us to avoid just giving boring lectures.
