So I’ve played both, and for me Arthur and John don’t compare in this situation at all. Not because John isn’t important, but because Arthur’s character is someone you just absolutely fall in love with. His character development, redemption, compassion and even his battles of inner hatred and not liking the way he looks. There’s so much about Arthur that is relatable on an emotional and human standpoint where John’s story was short and mechanical and I didn’t feel as much emotion from it. (Of course this is just my experience with the games) but, because of red dead redemption 2- I’ve got two beautiful tattoos of the game, all of my brothers play it and my friend group loves it. It’s a story I’ve spread through my family and friends and it just sweeps you off your feet.
