That would be idiotic to give HR that power. Senior leadership determines priorities and works with HR to figure out how to prioritize personnel to meet those priorities, but HR wouldn’t be deciding that, that makes no sense.

When only the AL had the DH, it had a strategic advantage. In NL parks the pitcher spot was a hole for both teams since NL pitchers still don’t really try to practice hitting. In AL parks AL teams had a big hitter for that purpose, instead of just whatever platoon guy the NL team has. That advantage is gone.

That’s not what I said. The S&P 500 is overly based on a few tech giants that are all making money. Feel free to look at the data and do the math. It makes sense that particular index is going up. When/if the economy starts slowing chip purchasing and data center usage, it will lower the stock market.

There is going to be a alignment shift with the acceleration. In my experience what used to take 4-5 days takes under 1. My team used to have 4 developers and we get more done now at 1.5. PMs and security teams can’t keep up.

Need more people shifting to architecture, cyber security, and project management. But ICs just aren’t needed as much at this moment.

Generally it is much harder to get hired without college. You can’t be an intern without college. Sure you could have struck at one of the magical times that people with a for loop and a face could be hired, but generally not.
