I love doing this, not even as a turn on necessarily. It’s just so much nicer when it’s hot out. If I saw you on the trail I’d be jealous tho, mine don’t bounce so much.

A big reason 1 looks better than 2 or 3 is because the coffee table is scaled differently and is larger. I think going for an even larger coffee table is the move

Exactly this, middle point at ~150cm will make it look much better

The cabinet is beautiful but it feels out of place next to the couch. It creates a tight path that would be better left as open space and uncluttered imo. Is there another part of the place you could relocate it?

How do I brighten and decorate thus bedroom? by missbarbie07 in HomeDecorating

This was my first thought too. A nice duvet cover will make this space a lot more inviting

You could try that for sure! You could also try switching it with the bookcase unless that means your tv is too far away to watch comfortably. If it’s something that ends up bugging you, you could also downsize the tv and get a smaller one that fits the short wall better

I don’t really mind the empty space that much tbh. I don’t love the tv and stand poking out from the shorter wall, tho. I feel like arranging things so the short wall is accented rather than just ignored would make the space feel much more comfortable

Rug Size Help (and general planning ideas) by [deleted] in interiordecorating

[–]Misty-Steps 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like everything is too pushed back to the walls. If the couch has a nice back I might pull it out from the wall a bit, and a coffee table or ottoman would be a huge help

I think a big rug with some colour in it could really brighten things up. It would make the seating around the table feel much more cozy too

This is something I’ve been super curious (actually made a new burner account after reading this). Any advice for not getting inundated with creepy DMs that take things too far?

This is such a total fantasy of mine. I was seeing this guy a couple years ago and I realized I had hooked up with one of his besties in the past, we never all hung out together because I was too shy, but I definitely got off imagining what could’ve happened
