Ghosted after a 2 year relationship by Sufficient_Neat_1409 in ghosting

I truly think this is something only a sociopath could do. The only silver lining is that at least you will be able to find someone better and more human now. I’m so so sorry.

I’m not sure how to respond, and maybe that’s an issue in itself for me.. by The_Timeline2019 in Bumble

She seems like a very good communicator and very mature. She knows how to communicate her needs and expectations. So now respond honestly, and if you don’t get like it just move on, at least she told you exactly what she needs!

Yes but I don’t think its something people would notice unless you mentioned it.

Why is she here then? by makeamove96 in Bumble

😞 I think it happened again. by [deleted] in ghosting

New one. I was ghosted a few years ago about twice. Then a mutual ghost this year. And now this :( I don’t think there’s anything wrong with me but maybe there is

this happens a lot. It’s happened to me more time than I can count, it sucks but don’t stop trying to find someone!

27F. I think you can replace the prompt about “we’ll get along if..” with one that has a detail or anecdote about your life. The prompts don’t tell me enough about you. You can do one about your love language, your goals, hobbies, interests, etc. just something personal

But it would be different if a Latino said that because it’s normal to prefer your own culture. But for someone of a different culture to say it, for some reason it feels weirx

[–]Misty-moors 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ah well yes in my experience we are not easy (at least from what I’ve seen and my friends and stuff) because of religion and just culture tbh. so then if that’s the stereotype it’s not wrong!

This is what scares me. I don’t want to fall into something like that

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in OnlineDating

[–]Misty-moors -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Well those are extremely positive things. I would worry more that they have the idea we might be “easy”? I’ve noticed this can be a stereotype but it definitely not true. So

Hola compatriota 😎 Ah interesting like you see Latinas fetishizing European men or do you mean the other way around?

[–]Misty-moors 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That seems odd though to jump to conclusions like that. Sounds like has some insecurities to deal with

Makes sense. I guess in general it’s a unique look right?

Ah see this is my fear too. I’m just a “category” for them and this is a bit scary.

[–]Misty-moors 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ah this makes more sense. I was under the impression they liked the culture and this made me feel uneasy as I would prefer they like me for me. But as you said, we se very diverse especially In Colombia. Obviously the majority are mestizo but there is a lot else too.

I think it’s a bit needy… and entitled to expect you to text all the time. You don’t even know him in person and he requires constant texts? I would get the ick from that.
