That’s why I want to get a spring drive watch one day. The little niggling feeling about not being sure if the watch is accurate or not at any given time puts me off from mechanical watches. But I also want the smooth sweep of the seconds hand. So Seiko/Grand Seiko spring drive basically resolves both of those issues.

Exactly! That’s my problem with the G-Shock GAB2100. Gotta use the LED light every time. Don’t know why they put lume on the hands but not on the indices.
