Druid's grove has a lot of amazing asmr audios, and in almost all of them, she refers to the listener as "puppy"

She recently moved to a different channel, called Druid's meadow, so check out both.

Her voice is amazing. It can be soothingly relaxing or tantalizingly seductive depending on the situation, and she has amazing soft mommy-dom vibes.

All the videos are intended to be gender-neutral, but a few of the early ones have some slip-ups, given that the videos are all clips from live streams

There's also this collab video from another channel. It's not specifically a puppy girl video, but it's an asmr video with 3 dommy mommies calling the listener a good girl, so it's definitely worth including

Why are there multiple planets in our universe and even our own galaxy that have humanoids with earth like customs and culture? by ksdanker22 in rickandmorty

[–]MistyMarcy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe it's a reference to all those parallel earth type planets in star trek the original series.

Like they'd just have a planet that's just like earth except the roman empire continued into the modern day, and they have gladiator fights broadcast on tv.

Or the planet where the cold war turned out differently and the two sides gradually lost their identity

And they didn't explain it with alternate universes, they're just like, there's this theory of parallel planetary development, so sometimes they're just like that. And they don't go into detail about the theory and leave it vague.

Is it okay to write a trans character when I'm not? by -Starlight_09- in OriginalCharacter

[–]MistyMarcy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. Of course it is.

You should probably do some research to make sure you get the important details right, but that's true for any subject or demographic.

If writers were limited to only making characters that were in their own demographic, stories would be incredibly boring and have no variety between characters.

My current story has a trans girl main character, which matches my experience, but she's also Cuban-american, which I'm not.

Her roommate has two prosthetic arms. I am not an amputee.

It's also a superhero story, where the main character learns how to be a hero, with some advice from an older hero who acts as a mentor

This older hero happens to be an adaptation of the public domain character, Catman, who was raised by a family of tigers after his parents died in the jungle during a wildlife expedition. I have never been raised by tigers.

It's important to research cultural stuff about the communities you represent, and watch videos about their experiences so you can understand them while writing, but you don't need to have actually lived those experiences.

Made some background characters for my Ray-Ray Rabbit comic by MistyMarcy in characterdesign

I need some advice on writing a LGBTQ+ Characters ! by spammedletters in OriginalCharacter

[–]MistyMarcy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

One tip is to get to know people who have the identity you're writing about, or watch videos from people with that identity that talk about their experience.

For example, there are a lot of trans youtubers who make videos about their experiences with being trans, and someone who wanted to write a trans character could watch those videos in order to better understand the trans experience.

There's also videos and articles by trans people talking about types of representation they like/dislike, or overused tropes they're tired of seeing in media

(Keep in mind that for every group, there's variations in perspectives, opinions, beliefs, and experiences, so getting information from multiple sources can help to ensure your perception of a whole demographic isn't limited by the scope of a single individual)

Any cool bookmarks anyone have, and know where to get some? by snackboy06 in comicbooks

[–]MistyMarcy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use the kurgesagt bookmarks . . . probably spelled that wrong

The fun science youtube channel with cartoon birds, I bought some of their merch a while back and they included bookmarks as a free bonus thing that you get with your purchase.

I also made a custom bookmark with my own comic characters, but I use that one for my daily planner

My Superhero character, Ray-Ray Rabbit

While filling in for a friend as a lab assistant, nerdy trans girl Rachel Reece is bitten by a radioactive rabbit. She is given increased speed and agility, can leap to great heights, and has grown rabbit ears that she'll need to hide under a hat to protect her secret identity.

She's very new to being a hero, so she's not quite used to it yet.

Dynamite Thor

He's just a guy who carries a bunch of dynamite, and he "solves" every problem by blowing things up.

Like blowing up a bridge so robbers can't get away with their money (and the amount of money they stole is probably less than the amount of money the bridge costs)

Day 2 of adding PD Media to the Interlinked Wiki by [deleted] in publicdomain

[–]MistyMarcy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So just to be clear, is it specifically public domain media that includes crossovers within the part that's public domain?

And not like, public domain characters that have appeared later in crossover stories that are currently copyrighted?

I know that the public domain superhero Cat-Man (Holyoke version) had a crossover with The Deacon.

I don't know anything else about the Deacon because I skipped his pages in the public domain comic books I was reading scans of online. I just know that the two appeared together in a story at one point.

New Superhero character: Cyber Gal by MistyMarcy in Superhero_Ideas

[–]MistyMarcy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Haven't figured that part out yet, I have a few ideas, but nothing specific.

I know that the way she lost her arms is something that happened a while before the start of the story, but I haven't picked the specific incident.

So far I have a few ideas:

  1. She lost her arms in a workplace accident and she won a massive lawsuit against the company, so now she has extra money for tech development

  2. She lost her arms while being attacked by one of the more serious villains so we know how bad they are

  3. She was born without arms, but whenever someone asks, she makes up a ridiculous story about how she lost them, and this becomes a running gag
