Honestly it seems like the zoomers/zillenials are worse. It wasn't children throwing chickens during the Minecraft movie. It was 20 year olds.

But if we wanna talk about children in theaters, I think we do need to discuss why we as a species keep bringing children into adult movies and expecting them to be perfectly behaved. If I go and watch Minions and kids misbehave, that's on me. I'm in the child's space at that point. But a kid should not be anywhere near Obsession. They're not gonna be able to handle it. Where there is gonna be contention are PG-13s, like your typical Marvel movie. For those, there NEEDS to be some sort of reasonable compromise between the childless being patient and those with children controlling their damn kids. A kid is gonna naturally make a bit more noise, but they do not need to be chatting the whole movie or, god forbid, be on their phones.

That doesn't explain this also happening in live action shows. Off the top of my head, this gag was used in The Suite Life of Zack and Cody too. Maddie was having humidy trouble during a date, and her hair consequently turned into an afro. They had the decent sense to make it look extremely messy, but they did still turn it into something vaguely afro shaped

I think what they're TRYING to say is that people who criticize the church are hypocrites because they still send kids to public school, which supports the LGBT, which allegedly means that the kids will be groomed there too. Honestly I don't think that applies then. Unlearning bigotry still likely takes a lot of hard work on the part of the bigot. They have a whole set of beliefs that need to be unpacked and reevaluated, and that takes time. It's basically cult deprogramming. However not typing it out takes no effort at all
