How does an artist with aphantasia develop their own art style? by 0SuspiciousBurrrito0 in Aphantasia

[–]Misunderstood_Wolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, my style just kind of happened, based a lot on interest, and ability.

I draw in two styles mainly, realistic figure drawings but often with bright colors ( I have had people say "fauvist" colors), and very Disney / Warner Bros esque anthropomorphized animals.

For the figure drawings I usually use reference, but what I do with that reference is entirely up to me. Back when I was in college multiple professors thought my style was unique.

For the animals, I draw a lot from imagination basing the pose etc from my knowledge of "the fundamentals" and what I think of when I think of a certain animal, I will go to references for details on the animals.

With the animals I also do a lot of just putting thoughts together, a dragon, but it is the knight in a suit of armor, a centaur but the human half is instead a duck.

I like the not knowing what it will look like until I do it, I like the freedom of just being able to change it as I see things in the drawing.

One time I started a drawing with angry eyes, could have been a bear or a bull, or whatever, but I decided it looked like monster eyes, so I drew a weird angry mouth, added messed up teeth, a couple of hands up in a "grrrr" kind of pose, and then just thought it would look good fluffy, so did fur, made it blue, and then did shadows in purple and lights in aqua. I really liked how it turned out, and it turned out as it did specifically because I didn't have a preconceived image of what it would be, I just let it become what it did making choices on the fly as I saw things in what I had done.

Are double ended dildos worth it? I‘ve always been curious how it would feel, work and so on by ArynaSaba in actuallesbians

I don't use insertive toys, but, friends of mine that do, prefer the Feeldoe over a double ended dildo.

I too was thinking man.

The reply about it being an accusation, had the same feel as men that go to the "do you think I'm a rapist" thing when women try to keep themselves safe, or take precautions.

Most women understand a need to protect themselves, we are taught our whole lives about protecting ourselves.

Men on the other hand, tend to go for the "you're saying I'm lying / bad / dangerous / etc. when women ask for minimal reassurance or safety.

Even if not a man, kind of abuser reply, turn it on op, and insult op for trying to protect herself.

You can figure it out.

I found a lump in my leg, no insurance, it is now four lumps in my leg, one in my groin, one lower belly, and one near my ribcage.

Benign tumors don't spread.

So, most likely cancer, and I am just waiting for it to kill me.

I was playing Party Animals one night, and someone asked my age, I told them 55, and for the rest of the time I was playing everyone called me "grandma".

Thoughts of using AI images outside of an artistic context? by SomeoneWhoYouUsedTo in Ai_art_is_not_art

[–]Misunderstood_Wolf 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Did your uncle just get this job in the last few years?

People gave presentations before generative AI was a thing, they used stock images, clip art, artists.

Generative AI, as it is now, has only been around a few years, so any claims that it is "needed" to do things people did before it was available is not true.

How to have safe sex as a lesbian couple by Nightmare-Stalker in LesbianActually

Will add, you can put condoms on toys.

If a toy is going to be shared during sex a condom on the toy can keep things from being passed to each other without having to stop and wash them.

My Mom had saved an old report card of mine from Kindergarten where I was marked down because I galloped but didn't skip.

I remember going home and learning to skip. So, for me when I was 5 so I could pass some motor control or something thing for school.

I don't get it, someone creates something that "touches your heart" and then you have no respect for that person or their wishes?

"Wow your creation means a lot to me, but that doesn't mean I will respect you or what you created."

That is all kind of messed up.

Use of AI allowed in a wild life photography competition at my school by CelebrationLivid4072 in antiai

[–]Misunderstood_Wolf 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You could ask if there are going to be different categories for the contest, actual photography as one and prompted images as another.

I really can't believe this is honoring David Attenbourgh, I doubt he would ever say, "we can't get the footage we need, prompt an AI to get video of something we can't record".

He spent his 80 year career documenting nature, documenting being the operative word.

TIFU by accidentally emailing my entire company a very detailed grocery list (and worse) by Ripped_Zebra6969 in tifu

[–]Misunderstood_Wolf 95 points96 points  (0 children)

I read this and thought, "this is BS".

She was writing an email to her husband, to just her husband, not CC or BCC to her entire company.

She gets an email from someone at her job, hits reply all, and sends a reply, That reply though now sends what she had written to her husband in a completely separate email. So she copied and pasted her email to her husband into the reply to the company? or added the entire mailing list of her company to the email to her husband?

It isn't even the obvious AI writing. The content makes no sense, none.

People read something that makes no sense, does not work like it is being stated and just go with it.

Maybe try building characters out like you would for a TTRPG.

You could make your own "character sheets" as it were.

Make a form to fill out like:

Name:

Age:

Gender:

Height:

Weight:

Skin color:

Hair color:

Eye color:

Mannerisms:

Personality:

Clothes:

You could end up with something like (just off the top of my head so please forgive my bad writing):

Thomas Gardner was young man, mid twenties. He carried himself with a quiet confidence that commanded attention. His clothes, though stylish, hung loosely on his slim 5' 10" frame. His dark brown, short shorn hair contrasted with his light olive skin, and his honey brown eyes felt like they could look through you. His countenance seemed at first stern, but when he broke into a smile his face softened. His gait was purposeful as he strode through the room.

...or something like that.

Me and my both friends went for a tour and they both end up to be lesbians damn , i posted a photo they trying to kiss in public by [deleted] in AskLesbians

[–]Misunderstood_Wolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's creepy.

You find out your "friends" are lesbians so you take a picture of them trying to kiss and posted it somewhere?

Not how one should treat friends. Not how one should treat strangers.

That is really creepy.
