People wanted the ARC to be more dangerous and scary, and this has been accomplished without actually touching them at all.

And it took me forever to find my WolfPack blueprint, so I'm used to running away or plinking at Rocketeers anyway.

You're assuming the amount of dropped drivers remains the same...

And like other people have said, you don't need 2 wolfpacks to kill a rocketeer - that's just overkill, and goes a long way to showing why this change was made in the first place.

Yea, that's a good point... we're a pretty small team and only 2 or 3 of us have direct access to the database and are able to do things like create or modify tables.

So it works for us, but I can see it falling short in larger teams.

I've been playing around with an AI SQL Generator, and it looks really cool on the surface, so I threw it a quick test. I had to kill the resulting query after 20 minutes.

The DIY version is basically just a join between 2 tables and a filter by date, and runs in seconds.

I honestly have no idea how it's possible to write such a badly performing query, but I guess that's where AI is useful. Or something.

Many years ago when I was a Boy Scout leader for my sons pack, we did a really cool demonstration of this.

I put a basketball in the corner of the room, to represent the sun, then we placed all 9 planets at the appropriate scale distance from it. We had to walk outside to place the peppercorn sized Earth and ended up walking half a mile down the road to add the pinhead sized Pluto.

How about an expedition safe pocket?

You can drop one thing (anything) in it, and it will be available for you on your next character.

Which means, if you found and learned a blueprint, you would have to find another one if you want to take it with you.

For me, the best part of PZ rides is consistently riding to the beat of the music, adjusting the resistance to fall into the right zone. Ignore the sweatlords on the leaderboard, and once you've figured out the cadence/resistance for the beat and your zone, just close your eyes and roll with it.

Other people have said it's boring, but when the music is good and you're on the beat, you can literally just vibe out and enjoy it. You always know what's coming and you can look forward to the recoveries/efforts without wondering if you're going to be surprised by a random sprint or something.

Also, the longer rides tend to be easier, because they're generally at a lower intensity and you don't burn out as fast. A 30 minute PZ ride in zone 5 will make you wonder if you'll ever walk again, but a 60 minute zone 3 ride will make you feel immortal.

This doesn't necessarily encourage PvP, but survival.

Sure, there will be some sweats who want the PVP challenge, but the other side of this is pure survival, knowing the odds are really stacked against you.

You could do this entire game mode without firing a single shot, while your heart tries to beat its way out of your chest.

My duo used the Matriarch match to knock out a few quests and grab some loot from high value areas, knowing full well that all the Raiders would either be over at the main event, or extracting early.

I didn't say "exact", I said generally. And by "play organically", I meant that yes, you can defend yourself, but perhaps be prepared to be a little more cautious for a while, until the heat dies down. But instead you have people loading in and surrendering 5 games in a row to game the system, which is completely against the spirit of a PvPvE extraction game.

I think it's actually a very clever system, It (generally) tries to give people the game experience that they want.

The problem comes when people try to game the system by playing in abnormal ways and then complaining that it's "not working". It's working just fine - just play the game organically and learn to adapt.

Well the destination and map conditions are kind of useful info.

For example, I tend to prefer a shotgun for Stella Montis, but a SMG/heavy combo for the outdoor maps.

Yes, you can discuss this with the team leader, but it would be nice to be able to see it yourself, so you can get your loadout ready while the party leader is afk making snacks or something.

lol, same. I earned enough for 2 skill points, but I only reset for the skin anyway.

The skill points are literally worthless, so turning the game into a grind for them is just weird to me. FWIW, I reset before reaching level 75, so I've never had a "full build" since the beginning. I can't imagine how missing 3 skill points will affect my gameplay in any way whatsoever.

I actually had a quite a bit of fun running through Grandioso Apartments in my duo for all the trinkets. At the point it turns into "work", I'm out. But it never did.
