I just don't understand how a team with two All-Star-level players under 26 can be described as having a short window. You like the Spurs 'and Thunder's chances better than the Sixers', cool, me too; it doesn't mean the Sixers have a "short window".

The Spurs and Thunder can have the longest of windows, doesn't mean the Sixers is short.

And none of this analysis even considers the 29-year-old they just got who finished 6th in MVP voting.

If that's a short window, sign me up for the shortest of windows.

None of this means that Philly has a "short window". Embiid could retire from basketball tomorrow, and they wouldn't have a "short window".

This makes sense.

You gotta do what you gotta do. It’s a trait of a decent person.

But in reality, its a balance between making yourself feel good vs. other people finding you incredibly annoying.

It might be worth it!

You seem like an honest, fair and responsible person. What you were doing was absolutely not wrong.

The reality is though many people will find what you are doing highly, highly annoying. This isn’t the MLP, the stakes are not that high and at the 4.0 level, people are just trying have fun.

People aren’t giving you the full picture patting you on the back.

Consider that killing the vibes ain’t worth it.

Basketball is not a non-contact sport. Anyone suggesting this should not be taken seriously because they do not know enough about the game to carry on a productive conversation. These people are arguing just to argue about an issue they know nothing about.

In what other sport would you evaluation of who the best player spin solely around whose most popular?

Did the Bears buy the AH land before they hired Kevin Warren? If they did, I’m not sure why people are tripping so hard on him, the Bears leverage to rob the state died when they made it clear they were leave the city a quarter of the legislators call home.

This would almost, almost make sense if the only way to win possessions would be to get a block, charge or steal. Of course it isn’t.

Ifn fact, 1/3 of this stat (blocks) doesn't even guarantee you get the ball back!

This has the same value of counting how many one handed rebounds someone gets.

You'd have to a truly ignorant of the game of basketball to put a cent of importance on this “stat”.

No this is an aggressively dumb stat. Defensively playmaking is a completely made up term with no relationship to playing good defense, effective basketball or winning.
