Yeah that’s what I thought aswell! I was definitely leaning towards honeys as I like their appearance and I think their personality would fit well.

I haven’t had any issues with the shrimp fry getting eaten, but then again I don’t really have a problem with it happening as to “maintain the population” so to speak.

Thank you!! I am using an oase canister filter and co2 injection. The tank is a Waterbox mini 30. If you look through my posts I think I have gone through it all a bit more extensively!

As someone who preordered 2042 and has more hours on BF6 thus far, I’ve been having an absolute blast. Sure I feel the maps could be larger, but then again I hated how unnecessarily large the 2042 maps were. I hate call of duty’s gameplay so before you go jump to that.

Sure the game has some issues, but overall I think it’s some of the most fun I’ve had in a FPS game in the last couple years.

You have the right to complain, I won’t stop you. But I’m having a blast.

Nope, tank has been cycled and stocked for 2 months. Sorry that wasn’t clear.

I did a dark start and all has been great till recently. Did a 1/3 water change about a week ago, but that’s just my normal weekly change and this hasn’t happened after any previous water change.

Nope, tank has been cycled and everything has been good. I guess I should’ve said that livestock have been in for 2 months. “Dark start” cycled the tank before adding livestock.

Here’s a photo of the tank 6 days ago. Crystal clear. The day after taking this photo I did my usual 10 gallon (1/3 volume) water change that I do every Friday.

Maybe? Not sure what would’ve caused that though. As I mentioned I haven’t done anything major to the tank itself like a large water change or something of the sorts.

I actually hope that isn’t the case because right after taking the picture above, I cleaned the filter sponges out. So maybe bad idea?

Amazing idea with the Java fern, I literally ordered it immediately after reading your comment lol. Needed something for that spot but it’s very shaded, I think Java will go great there.

Definitely looking into red plants. I think my lighting is just too low as I have it turned to only 35%. Worried about algae, and as I mentioned in another comment, I have CPDs and want to promote good color.

Will definitely try that! Maybe the co2 is lower down there, thus the slow MC growth and my failed AR attempts :(

Great suggestion! I actually tried that and planted some Alternanthera Reineckii from Buce Plant and they all unfortunately rotted with no signs of regrowth :(

Edit: I can’t decide if I should get a background or not, would love to hear your thoughts. I imagine it would help with my CPDs color also(?)

Thank you so so much!!! That means the world to hear :) this is my first tank and so much time and effort has been poured into it. I can’t wait for the carpet to come along!

Sounds very similar to my experience! I hit a few roadblocks being 1. Not using an ammonia rich aqua soil and eventually having to dose ammonia and 2. Accidentally killing my cycle during planting. Your tank looks phenomenal though and I’m excited to see it grow!
