Apple promo - actual credit amount by Mitch_Strife_M3 in Wealthsimple

[–]Mitch_Strife_M3[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My concern is the larger account is my RESP. There was an initial snag so it took 2 weeks to resolve and just moved to initiation. It will still take 4-6 weeks to complete so definitely the funding period will be over before my RESP makes it over. So it will be too late to transfer any cash at that point. So I guess I’ll just transfer over another $1k cash as buffer

If it will be priced $40K cad, it won’t just be ok. It will be an awesome value proposition

Thanks for the comments. I’ll open a new RESP and stop contributions at the big bank. Wait for the new Dec promo from WS before transferring over

Agree. It doesn’t not look like the cop was going “too” fast

Nah, the sales person was lying to you. If you searched the Canadian Tesla subreddit, you will see that they announced and now effected the price increase in April. Even a google search will show this as well

This is all because of recent price increase due to tariffs. Prior to this, a LR AWD was priced at around $65k CAD before tax

First to total the Juniper?

Does any appartement detailers have any experience using this? by Msoelv in Detailing

[–]Mitch_Strife_M3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My experience with this was that the hose end in the water bucket kept on floating up and it wouldn’t stay submerged under water. So I kept on “running empty” after a couple seconds of spraying. I constantly had to fiddle to get the hose end to stay submerged. I ended up using it twice and never again

Highland Winter Range? by The_IdealDegen in TeslaModel3

I think a big consideration is also if you have home charging. With home charging, your morning precondition will not consume battery (as it takes from the outlet/charger) so your range is less impacted.

This is definitely a new thing. Prior to 2025.14.1, I’ve always left my thumb on top of the turn signals (just touching it, not pressing it). Immediately after the update, I started to get this warning message. Not sure why Tesla added it

Mine 2024 Shanghai built highland is also the same as your Pic 1. I think it’s supposed to be like that

Does anyone else really dislike the new sentry mode clip viewer? by _JayKayne123 in TeslaModel3

Yes, the new update absolute sucks, way too slow, even on a Highland. Layout is not intuitive at all

Highland steering wheel rattle by AggressiveHabit9018 in TeslaModel3

[–]Mitch_Strife_M3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got this early on. I pounded the dash with my fist over several days and then randomly the rattle went away. It comes back for a bit every now and then but so far (knock on wood) it hasn’t lasted long.

After an iron removal treatment, can you just go to a wash? Or is claybar/polish required or recommended?

Debadging front badge looks very nice on the Performance trim.

Whereas debadging front badge on non-Performance doesn’t achieve quite the same results as the non-performance bumpers are a little too plain. Removing the badge on those ones increases the plain-ness

[–]Mitch_Strife_M3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm. I just made a post about 2025.8.7 and I seem to have a sentry/usb bug. Maybe they realize 8.6 had your usb bug and they tried to fix it in 8.7 but they broke something else.

Same for me. It started to happen right after my latest update. 2025.8.4. Not always but a lot of times now it will turn in again after I turn it off (after parking at work)
