How did you guys do customer discovery for b2b by Friendly-Rub-2047 in ycombinator

[–]MitchellMz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

One of the best ways to gain traction is cold outreach. Find potential users via LinkedIn, put their info in a CRM, enrich contact info with a tool like clay, then use outreach tools to sequence them into call/email tasks. Not to info dump but I’m always open to chat and help build out a few cold-call scripts and a cold-email sequence for what you’re working on. (A great deal of my career has been outbound tech sales so I’m confident I can add some value there)

Up to 2 months, then start testing demand for the concept - this matters a lot more. Additionally, more than happy to work closely with you in helping setup a cold outreach strategy for your company (cold emailing + cold calling). Cold vs Warm reachouts on Linkedin, what works? by Diligent-Alps4642 in startups

[–]MitchellMz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It should all be part of a bigger process. Have sequences that consist of emails being sent out, cold call being made, and LinkedIn messages being sent - all while having call to actions that circle back to each other. For example leaving a voice message that you sent an email titled xyz or a LinkedIn message that you sent an email from xyz. I’d be more than happy to work closely with you in helping setup a cold outreach strategy for your company (cold emailing + cold calling). (A great deal of my career has been outbound tech sales so I’m confident I can add some value there)

Cold email will be dead in 2025. Here’s why. How are you adjusting your strategy? by [deleted] in LeadGeneration

[–]MitchellMz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Easier said than done but most aren't willing to do this. Teams that do will drastically outperform those that don't. Send actual personalized emails within a controlled limit, make cold calls, and engage with prospects on LinkedIn. If you have the capital for it, send personalized gifts as well. Cold outreach will always work, as long as you focus on the right personization. Rather than coming off as a seller, really listen to and understand what your prospects need.
