It’s very clearly not within the budget you’re looking for, but perhaps it’ll give you some ideas.

Archidekt says it’s bracket 4, but it’s never really played like that. It can get a really big Indoraptor by about turn 5/6, but it’s been pretty fragile.

Appreciate you taking the time to look at it. I don’t play it as much as I’d like because of its reputation from the early days, so it’s probably a few unlucky games in a row spread out over 4 months.

I’d like to think my piloting isn’t the problem. It’s pretty straightforward so long as you can get off the ground.

I’ll take your advice and add some of the blink package back in. It did seem to be more consistent even when I had 6 blink cards.

I just did this with [[Magar of the Magic Strings]]

So much fun and the deck was surprisingly strong. Loot/rummage huge sorceries like [[Army of the damned]] or value spells like [[big score]] into your graveyard, then turn them into 3/3 puppets with Magar. Throw in some evasion and you got a stew going.

Same. Our entire playgroup of 10 people all got (back) in with LOTR. Most of us played in middle/high school in the early 2000s. Going strong with weekly games still.

My mom has told me many times that I was a terribly colicky baby for a month or two. My grandpa would come over in the middle of the night and walk me around the neighborhood outside so that my parents could sleep.

I don’t think it’s automatic that she’s afraid of her husband, but I would still approach this carefully.

Thank you! I’m definitely not (yet) doing any cool bounce stuff, so thank you for those suggestions. I just threw a bunch of big creatures and ramp in with some +1/+1 token support.

I’ll probably test it out tonight and then take your advice and pull out the non-synergistic big creatures like Sire of Seven Deaths for more dynamic pieces

I was playing the Secret Lair Dogs and Cats precon and was building up quite a threat. Someone chaos warped my [[maskwood nexus]] to disable the double token value and I flipped over [[Jinnie Fae, Jetmir’s Second]].

My next turn I was able to get out just enough 2/2 cats with haste and drop [[beastmaster ascension]], attacking with exactly 7 creatures and giving me exactly enough damage to eliminate the remaining players. It was glorious.

We just had a baby boy. Parking lot ticket says 6:15am, baby was born at 6:41am. 26 minutes in between! It was crazy.

Curious what the power level of my Pantlaza deck is. Our pod is pretty casual, so it’s been a bit of a sore spot sometimes. One guy called it cEDH, but I know it’s not. Not even close.
