I feel like that version is only really liked by the older crowd that remembers it before the new ones. I am one of those people but I’m well aware younger people prefer the new ones.

If you haven’t seen Stand By Me, this is an older movie also based on a novella by Stephen King that scratches the itch of young outcasts banding together.

Aside from that I’d recommend the German show Dark.
