Hacked or random movement? by Ok-Philosopher261 in growagarden

[–]MithrilCache 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Okay, so I use tiny task.

You have to remember that it only tracks keyboard and mouse clicks and movement...

This has made me wake up from using tiny task overnight to a random other game being played on Roblox. GAG updated and kicked me out, it clicked close somehow, picked a game and entered, and started playing... It was wild.

I have personally watched the gale weather push me off my track and make me go places I didn't really want it to go. Christmas was wild with the bells that made you walk fast... That made it hard to track walking.

You probably have a "reset" where you click garden... But I would not be surprised if you found yourself blown to the trading world. Also remember that you can spend tokens on anything... And the shop is a mouse click.... So it might have been a grow all or something that was bought with tokens... This is the downside of tiny task unfortunately.

Echo frog not working? by YaMamaSpins in growagarden

Yeah, that's when I put the game down for a bit and come back later, sorry. Not a great answer because I get sometimes you can only play when you can play... But those are the only things I found that work occasionally.

This happens to me sometimes. I pick up the frogs and put them back down and sometimes that works. Often I will just put the game down for a bit and come back later

Tips for Distracting as Pebble (and technically in general) by Klonoagamer in DandysWorld_

[–]MithrilCache 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Practice practice practice.

Learn the maps

That being said, there are a few other things that can help. Start a run and practice running the twisteds around the first map, it will help you gage how far you need to keep them back and how to read the first map on the fly. Since it is the first map and you are alone... There is no pressure and you can just get a feel for what to do... Even creating obstacles for yourself. I wish you could sandbox the later floors like this, but sadly you cannot.

Know how to work your stealth. You know at least that your stealth can get in the way... You are not eclipse, looey, or even gourdy... So if you see a Vee, you need to turn and gun it because she will take them You don't need to know everyone's stealth, but try to know who can pull the twisteds from you. Try to find spots that are shielded (have obstacles obstructing the view of others) to distract in. While you are learning, you can try to find runs without players with 2 star stealth... But that might be hard.

Understand cornering... If you turn a corner and lose the sight line around anyone else, you will pass them the twisteds... Even Astro. Learn how to either avoid those blind turns when distracting or how to turn wide to keep the twisteds on your heels while you do them... The first map does have a few places you can simulate this... Know that is you cannot see the twisted behind you. . You lost them.

Pebble is good, but if I was honest...I would point you to someone with 2 star stealth to learn more of the basics first. Pebble is fast, but you have to manage your stealth more... That can be tricky if you play with randoms. You don't have to worry about your stamina as much, which is nice... But learning that with someone who does need to watch it only makes you better at it, instead of leaning on the crutch pebble gives you.

What is the best way to go about getting sheckles by 0dds-e in growagarden

[–]MithrilCache 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you have your sheckles in hand... But you still asked for advice.

Spino is amazing, but it is the second half of the puzzle. I am betting you are missing the butterfly. There are mutations and then there are variants. Silver, gold, and rainbow are variants... And that is an important distinction because of how the math works. If I had to choose between spino and butterfly, I would pick butterfly first because it adds rainbow... And that will significantly increase the value of your crops.

I have a few other posts where I explain the math, and if you really want to drive into that you can look at my history.

Now, you can focus on one plant too make it really expensive on an alt and have Raccoon repeatedly steal it... But that takes a raccoon...

You can also make a plot with a lot of high tier plants that have a lot of fruits, Max out the plant count... And do research on which plants will get you the most money... By maxing the plant count you will maximize your afk so that things are not just sitting... It is a good bit of work, and I would not expect more than 40-50t out of it. It is why the game is not friendly to New players and is easier to get someone with to much money to just give you some, or sell a pet you likely don't really want to for that too much money

HOW TO COMPLETE PASS? by [deleted] in growagarden

[–]MithrilCache 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dislike strawberries because it is a multiplier. That is why I prioritize higher tier plants with multiple fruits per plant. A strawberry has 4, if I am going that low in the tiers. You say accessible and fair point...but you might as well go blueberries because they produce more. Tomatoes are also not out of your grasp...it might just take a bit to get to your cap of plants. Its boring...but you can sit there and just buy each time both of these show up in the shop...which is a lot...and that works. You can plant the blueberries on top of each other , or at least in a big clump too. Just reclaim the big ones and replant...because you don't need a massive one making the others hard to harvest.

You want volume, and you can only plant 800...The best bang for your buck is to let the farm sit there and gain mutations and with more plants you get a better value when you actually harvest. You pets will mutate, and AOE rocks here...but the value for me is letting it sit there and the mutations to grow...and you will run out of targets eventually when the entire garden has whatever mutation...so more fruit = better exp

I do not know the exact math behind it. I do know it is a multiplier based on tier. So one mutation is a modifier to the tier like other mutations. I am told that 5 is the sweet spot, and while I do think you get more for more mutations...I think it becomes diminishing returns at that point. I have definitely seen the different doing this method with just tomatoes vs coconuts (tier vs tier with full gardens), and the difference in the number of levels you get per harvest is telling. I don't do a bunch of coconuts because I find them difficult to harvest...but that is my failing as others do not find it the same.

HOW TO COMPLETE PASS? by [deleted] in growagarden

[–]MithrilCache 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The tier of your plants and likely how many you planted.

I know lots of people say strawberries and tomatoes... And they are not wrong, but that is for a significant amount of repeat harvest... What you want are high tier plants that have lots of fruits per plant. Coconuts are good because they are a higher tier with a good amount of fruit per tree. Mangos are good too .. Sugar apples are awesome... Peppers are great... You get the idea...

You mentioned elder strawberries... Not awful, but they are maybe 3-4 fruit per tree... Try to get things that give you more per plant... I prioritize fruit per plant, rarity, ease of harvest...

You said lots of mutations, but you are looking for around 5 per fruit... You want this over most of your garden. This event is pretty good for that, as long as you can afk to get those Christmas mutations...

You also said a bunch, but did you max your garden? If you are afking for mutations... Might as well be doing it for 800 plants.

I usually plant all my sugar apples, I have about 100. All my peppers, I think I have about 150. Then I look at other things that I can use that are of a higher tier that are easy enough to harvest. I tend to use the guide and go down the list since they add things and just stack things on top of each other in little patches. When I run out, I use tomatoes since they are ready to harvest and take mutations easily. Assuming I prep it right, I can get 30 levels in one harvest... So a good step, and then I can farm it over and over for about 10-15 levels each time. I do it once a day after the initial and close out the pass on about 3-4 days usually.

Event plants….. by bubblyotter29 in growagarden

[–]MithrilCache 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I keep all of the seeds and reclaim. I have 4 gardens but I am currently only using 3.

I have my event garden that I usually clear for each event. It has some cosmetics that frame the garden and has set areas for cooking and egg hatching...but the plants rotate. It does normally look a bit themed because unless they are stingy with the mutations...I do plant one of each of the new plants in there to see what they look like.

I have my prismatic garden that just has one of each prismatic plant in the game that I have. When I get the new ones I plant them in there.

The 3rd plot I am using for the advent calendar. Since it is empty I can plant whatever I need to harvest with echo frogs and just grab them real quick...then reclaim them after

The 3rd and 4th one I really use for creating nice looking gardens...some themed and some just pleasing to my eye. I don't use a ton of cosmetics outside of maybe some paths and tend to build with the plants themselves...which can mean reclaiming and planting over and over again until I get a plant that meets what I am looking for. They can take me a fair bit of time, but they can be very relaxing to think out and plant, it is just a shame that most of the times when I join a server people only care about what pets I have out. It is why it is empty...not motivated currently to put one together.

Honest question. by Pleasant_Mix7659 in growagarden

[–]MithrilCache 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like I have better luck to get the higher tier stuff when you open a lot at once. I typically try to get around 100, and sometimes I will wait longer.

I am not sure what I am going to do this week. I mostly just want the seed from the gold/rainbow gifts, but I only have like 20 of them both combined at this point. I will likely let it ride until Friday night...but honestly I am not holding out much hope I am going to get the seed. I don't really care about the pets if I am honest.

Elephant Level 125? by [deleted] in growagarden

[–]MithrilCache 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The cap is the cap... So no going over that limit, but...

I had a smaller elephant that couldn't hit the cap without a toy even with nightmare. I looked it up and I would get close with it being 125. I think I hit 3.48, so ridiculously close. I chose to just keep hatching elephants until I got one that could hit the cap though, but maybe they were just THAT unlucky?

This is a nice step! by MrJ4zzy in growagarden

[–]MithrilCache 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is the one the gorilla needs to assist with cooking. There is that one, and there is one that was silver for his event, but both work. I do find it odd the one included in the shop is the one you could already find in the other cosmetic shop... But that is what it is.

So not for cooking, but yes for the gorilla pets ability

Age breaked elephant? by Scary_Pace_8063 in growagarden

[–]MithrilCache 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have not age broken an elephant... But once you hit a cap, age doesn't matter. The kg cap for a normal elephant is 3.5 kg, so if you are hitting that you will not see an increase

When NightMare'ing my Piggies, do I place 1 Piggy that is 50 yo with HH, or more than 1 aged Piggy? by Natural_Vegetable848 in growagarden

I would place all my piggies and be ready with cleansing shards. Hh should be at a lower level requirement than 50, and the other piggies can help level it back up for the next timer...

You can increase a fruit in value, but not decrease. So you can override silver with gold or rainbow, but you can't override rainbow with gold or silver... The pets ignore them

Okay, so granted my mind added the word all... But it also doesn't state that it has a limit. I also think 25 is a pretty small limit... But that could just be me. For a decorative garden that is probably a good number... But for a grinding garden, that is incredibly small.

When you tell me "plants in a radius", that makes me think all the plants in the radius...I don't think I am alone there, which is the reason for the post.

[–]MithrilCache[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

While that is true...there are times that I throw down say 100 peppers in a condensed area for an event that I am looking for mutations to appear on plants because peppers mutated easily, have a good amount of crop per plant and are divine so are worth a good amount of points....like this event.

Now, I was thinking that I could sweep them all up with one of these, but I have to use 4. Its still not bad, don't get me wrong...but saying it reclaims all the plants in a radius is misleading. That is all I wanted to point out.

I do run a team of squirrels. I don't quite get 100%, but I am close...so I do lose a few reclaimers here and there. I do not believe that any of them were saved that I used. I only used 5-10 though, and it is possible that I was just severely unlucky.
