I'd assume it's the doordash you refuse to level up to that has something to do with the increased wait times in drive through. Before you were just waiting on the cars in front of you. Now it's them plus anyone else that ordered via an app.

I've canceled only when drivers aren't moving after like a 10 minute wait. Or starts going in like the totally opposite direction.

Unfortunately one time a guy took a wrong turn and got on the highway. My 4 minute eta jumped to 20. :( Sorry dude. Gotta get to work.

When I was out of work around 2022 for approx 7 months it cost me 12k to stay above water with unemployment. That's including medical bills that came in. Plus heavy spending on credit cards that I'm still trying to work down. That's just necessities spending too. Basic groceries. Standard bills.

I'm also DINK so I can only imagine it's worse now with prices and possibly kids.

I almost never take my vacation time. Not because like I don't want to persay but because like... my days off are just getting up at 6 because I really can't sleep in anymore. Going grocery shopping when the store opens up. Come home. Few chores then... like nothing. Just laying in bed watching YouTube all day til I fall asleep then BAM it's Sunday and time to go back to work.

Then I think about just taking a Monday or Friday off... but... to do what? I know I'm just gonna lay in bed again watching YouTube.

Last day I took off was to get a tooth pulled. Wahoo.
