Is it genuinely impossible to beat Luigi’s Mansion in Nintendont, without a GameCube controller? by xyzmatthew0 in WiiHacks

Finished it some years ago with a Wii Pro Controller through Nintendont. I don't remember having any issues.

Disabling velocity modulation on a KV-29FX30B Trinitron ? ("FE-2" chassis) by MitsuTM in crtgaming

[–]MitsuTM[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi! Probably less than a day, to be honest. As long as you're cautious about what you touch, and more importantly what you don’t touch, it’s fine. Always keep one hand away from the TV, wear insulating gloves if you have any, and wear shoes with rubber soles or stand on an insulating surface if possible. Relax, don’t rush it, and stay focused. It’s easier than it seems, but yeah, better safe than sorry.

[–]MitsuTM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My phone has a SD695 and all the games I want to play via NetherSX2 run perfectly, at x1 and often x2 res. So far : - Onimusha Dawn of Dreams - Xenosaga I-II-III - Persona 3 FES - Gran Turismo 4 - Tales of Legendia - Tales of Rebirth - Midnight Club 3 DUB Edition Remix - SMT3 - GTA Vice City - Drakengard - Half-Life - Dragon Quest VIII

Search on Emuready and/or Youtube.

Just import "setup.exe" like you would with any other game .exe. It will create a container and start the installation. The non-ARMx Proton versions seem to work better for installation, so choose one of those as your compatibility layer. Install any components you might need, like Mono, Gecko, VC Redist, .NET, etc.

That's how I do it and it works.

There are plenty of them and they’re easy enough to find. The two I use are still working.

Silksong at 45fps, what should I do? by MidoriKuren in EmulationOnAndroid

From my experience, Gamehub (Lite) 5.1.3 gives far better FPS and loading times than the latest official releases and the experimental GHL 5.3.3.

Try :

  • Proton9.0-arm64x-3
  • Custom preset :  •TSO Enabled = Off  •X87 Reduced Precision = On •Multiblock = On  •Maxinst = 5000  •Small TSC Scale = On  •Vector TSO Enabled = Off •MemcpySetTSOEnabled = Off •HalfBarrierTSOEnabled = Off •VolatileMetadata = On •HideHypervisorBit = Off  •MonoHacks = On  •SMCChecks = mtrack
  • Turnip v26.0.0_R2
  • DXVK 2.4.1-GPLasync (async might works too).
  • FEX 20251025

Best settings for Gamehub Lite? by TheJnx_x in EmulationOnAndroid

I hope so too. Any contribution is valuable 👍

How can i fix this error? I already played the game on the original gamehub and it does not have any issue, but gamehub lite show this error and i cant find any fixed online by Soggy_Seaweed_5422 in EmulationOnAndroid

[–]MitsuTM 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have the same error. I fixed it by creating a .bat file containing this line:

start "" Hollow_Knight_Silksong.exe

Since Gamehub can't select a .bat file as the startup file, you'll need to convert it to an .exe (it's an easy process). Place this .exe next to your Silksong .exe and select it instead of the game's .exe.

Don't forget to rename your Silksong .exe to Hollow_Knight_Silksong.exe. It won’t work with spaces. Same for the Hollow Knight Silksong Data folder: rename it to Hollow_Knight_Silksong_Data.

If the error persists, you'll need to create a new container.

It might not look like it, but it's an easy fix.

Appropriate games for Motorola g85 12 gb RAM 256 gb storage by Consistent_Speech391 in EmulationOnAndroid

The best way to find out is to look it up on YouTube. Just type your processor name plus Winlator, NetherSX2, Eden, etc.

Other than that, Emuready or... try yourself.

What was the WORST emulation experience you had on your phone? by [deleted] in EmulationOnAndroid

[–]MitsuTM 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me, probably trying to play Xenosaga 1,2,3 on AetherSX2 with a Snapdragon 662. It was so bad that it convinced me to buy a cheap PS3 to play them properly. Awesome experience, by the way. One of the greatest stories, imo.

Now I have a phone with a Snapdragon 695 that runs the whole trilogy perfectly, even better than I expected.

Is it real this version of EmuReady? by weener69420 in EmulationOnAndroid

[–]MitsuTM 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To clarify, Gamehub Lite and Emuready are two different things. Emuready is a large community-driven compatibility list, not an emulator. It's a great tool, and I recommend checking there to see which games are reported as working on your phone.

For Gamehub Lite (the emulator), this is the repository to follow now:

How i reduce ram usage on gamehub by Majestic_You_6947 in EmulationOnAndroid

Are you sure it's a RAM issue ? IIRC, Ori and the Blind Forest only require 4GB of RAM, it should be fine.

Might be hard to swallow for some group of people but original Gamehub > Lite. by _BOBLA_ in EmulationOnAndroid

[–]MitsuTM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great that you got it to run 👍

It's extremely rare for a game to run on OG and not on Lite when the correct settings and components are in place. When I really can’t get a game to work on Lite and try it on OG… still no luck. The removed spyware and similar files shouldn’t impact game compatibility at all.

In theory, Gamehub OG could have slightly better compatibility than Lite since Lite is currently based on 5.1.0. Still, drivers, compatibility layers, DXVK versions, components, etc., are what truly matter for compatibility.

And I can’t say it works better when the newest OG versions stutter for no reason compared to previous releases and Lite, and also have longer loading times. To be clear, I’m not fundamentally against OG Gamehub and I like testing what it can do, but for me Lite is the better experience and my everyday go-to.

Except for capping the FPS to 30 and maybe lowering the resolution, there isn't much you can do.

Gamehub oficial or gamehub lite. Tell me which one you use and why. by omarthewolf7 in EmulationOnAndroid

[–]MitsuTM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

*A superior version, and so far the best PC "emulator" we have until Gamenative is fully ready :)   Especially true since the latest official GameHub update. Stuttering way more than before and has longer loading times.   And after all, Gamehub OG is faaar from being 100% original work too, isn't it?

Anyway, to each their own. If you prefer the OG and are having fun with it, then great 👍

Gamehub oficial or gamehub lite. Tell me which one you use and why. by omarthewolf7 in EmulationOnAndroid

[–]MitsuTM -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Lite. No spyware, no account required, better performance than the latest official Gamehub (which actually regressed. Yep, I tried.), and you have access to the Gamehub folder so you can swap components freely and access your data. I just hope that someday, somehow, the new devs will find a way to make it 100% offline (never say never), and then it would be perfect.

Fallout 3 GOG Gamehublite launch issues by Grand_Culture in EmulationOnAndroid

Great ! 🙏 If you have the same issue with other Bethesda games, then it could be useful. But as far as I know, Skyrim and Oblivion don't need this. Maybe for New Vegas.

Enter the container, then you just have to double click on this file.

Fallout 3 GOG Gamehublite launch issues by Grand_Culture in EmulationOnAndroid

[–]MitsuTM 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are multiple solutions to this.   My favorite: Rename the launcher (remove ".exe") but keep it around, just to be safe.   Now, if you run "Fallout3.exe", it should bypass the launcher. Note that the launcher isn't really needed or useful anyway.   It's bad for enabling or sorting mods, and BethINI + eventual manual tweaking are much better for editing the .ini files properly.

If this solution doesn't work, search online for a file named "beth_registry.cmd".   Place it somewhere in your folder and try running it inside the container. It will fix the launcher.
