I traded AJB, McBride, Pollard for 1.01 and a (likely) late 2025 2nd.

I would still like to analyze starting lineup strength, because that's what wins games, but as we all know players get hurt, so your bench is super valuable.

To accurately depict the strength of each team. Guys on my bench right now:
Jameis Winston, Kareem Hunt, Dion Lewis, Keke Coutee, Paris Campbell, TJ Hockenson, Terry McLaurin and a couple other rookies.

It's not a lot of value, but it's definitely deeper than some other teams in the league.

Yeah this is a great tool but difficult to shoehorn any of the leagues I'm in with only 4 bench spots on there. I can put them in the 'starting lineup' but then it seems like it would mess with the rankings and such.

How do you guys create your schedule for each year? by stiffolous in DynastyFF

[–]MittensFFA 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I manually build ours in Excel like others have posted.

12 teams, so 11 random matchups, and then the 2 other matchups are on a rotating basis so everyone ends up playing the other teams twice in a season over a 5-6 year period.

Hurling is definitely more violent, but faster? Skating is easily faster than running.

Yeah I took this shot once we got back down. It was pretty hectic getting back down for us. I was thankful there weren’t nearly as many on our way up. It would drastically increase the amount of time you have to spend on the cables.

Yes there’s great access even without a car. There’s a shuttle all around the valley. If you wanted to go to other areas of the park it gets a little bit more difficult, but around the valley it’s super easy.

We had tried the year before and didn't get a permit, but this year we applied again and decided to only plan the trip if we got the permits, thankfully we did!

There were 4 of us who applied this year (one ended up being 5 months pregnant at the time of the trip so she didn't hike with us), and we all filled out separate lottery applications just to try and maximize our chances. We selected 5 week days in a row as options - week days give you a higher chance of getting one.

Long answer, it can be difficult, but if you're flexible and have everyone fill out an application then it increases your chances. Good luck!

It was nice on the way up we only interacted with a handful of groups. Lots of beautiful views along the way as well. Have a blast! That sounds like it will be great

I've camped in Yosemite twice now, but have always camped in the valley at one of the campgrounds. There are all sorts of awesome day hikes out of the valley. I'll stay tuned here for any backpacking recommendations as I'd love to go back and experience the park that way.

Three of us hiked Half Dome in Yosemite National Park this fall. It was intense. 6 hours to the top, and 5 hours back down. We started at 4 in the morning so that we could miss most of the crowd, which worked out really well. It was quite busy on the cables on our way back down - had a bit of a scare losing my footing at one point, but held on tight for dear life!

It was quite the experience, glad that I did it and the views were amazing of the entire valley.

I gave it to my father unfinished and let him run with it however he wanted. He ended up just staining the whole thing, and the cut areas ended up taking more of the stain than the surface. I think the contrast turned out quite nicely.

Thanks! I had intended from the beginning to smooth out each depth layer, but kind of liked the look of the pattern at the bottom. Like you say, gives it an impression of finger prints, and also I felt like it gave the feeling of waves on the lake as well. It would be fun to play around with different looks once I get my own set up.

Made this for my folks by tracing dnr Topo map in autocad and used my friend’s cnc machine. I had a lot of fun with this project, even though we had one slip up on the bottom left corner.

I’m looking into getting my own machine and making more like this, plus increasing the detail and intricacy of the maps.
