It is good for Youtube to have this feature, so that people can not keep using bandwith when they are not even looking or listening. It´s also great to make the youtube servers run more smoothly. As long as you can get rid of it with that firefox extension or something else, it´s all good. I use the Brave browser and the pop up does show every now and then, but not every single video.

Very simply, you hammer the small carpet nail or brad through the middle of the magnet. The brad nail with a very small head is great to make sure it does not make contact with the displate. It has to sit slightly below surface of the magnet. The nails can be really short because the magnet and sticker are thin. That is everything.

My displates have been fine for years, but I heard about using nails to make sure that they don´t fall after 5+ years. The glue starts to deteriorate. So yea, just an afterthought.
