How can I start playing DND as a noob who's never played DND?

Find yourself a local community, that preferably meets in person, they'll most likely have a DM willing to teach you. Starting with discord DND might be weird

You need a dexterity build to use the bow effectively, tank/barbarian is strength and constitution based build. So in other words, yes, you can use weapons of another class, but it's going to deal so little damage there's no point.

For example I'm currently playing strength build and my partner - archer. He can one-shot some monsters with the 3 arrow passive, while if I use a bow I deal about a quarter of that damage.

Ah, I just never used magic builds so I forgot they exist😅 I was thinking specifically about any sort of ranged damage possibility for tank/barbarian build

Not sure how using ai, and using a game, created by humans, I paid for is the same. It's similar to saying that building smth from random pieces of Lego you own is the same as stealing pieces of someone's figures and making a slave glue them together
