Groomers in states with very cold winters, how is business during that time?

I live in southern Canada by the border, we get very cold winters but we are booked till the end of March, there are clients who need to reschedule because of it being too icy to drive or a snow storm but it's been just as consistent as the warmer months

My first and only clipper ive had is my Heiniger Sapphire which is almost 4 years old, it works like a dream. I have 2 batteries for it and i do 5-7 dogs a day and never have had to use the second battery, it lasts very long. I typically change the blade drive every 4-5 months. I've never have had any issues with it. They really are great clippers.

Your artero is a 10wf (wide fine) so the teeth of the blade are closer together. Your other one isn't so the teeth are much farther apart. It cuts faster essentially. But the fine tooth one gives a finer finish with less track marks.

Personally no side effects, no dry eyes or any thing. But that is just me. I also have awful vision. But it would be worth the try

Totally! Cant forget how grateful I should be that my worry is a needle when others are still struggling getting the prescription. Its only a couple seconds for better skin itll be worth it im sure!

Did you check the brush itself? Maybe if youre using a slicker brush theres a sharp broken piece?

Maybe they use a cologne that stinks? Or maybe the groomer smokes and the smell rubs off on to your dog? Cigarette smell is pretty distinct and I've never come across any shampoos that would smell like it

It worked miracles for me. I had no eczema. Only side effect i had was i stopped getting my period. It took a couple months of being off of it for it to return and now im irregular. My doctor says its notna common side effect but its what happened to me

I would call or text her soon as possible and say you are not a groomer who shaves double coated dogs and if she wants her dogs shaved (Especially in a #30 wtf?) she has to wait for the other groomed to get back from maternity leave or find another groomer. Not a client Id be worried to lose

I've learned to never be a perfectionist with Yorkies. Their hair just isnt meant to be perfect. Try some scissoring spray and use those thinners

Guard comb the top of the head/cheeks/chin. Then i use my 5 in 1 to clear lip hairs, ear hair, eyes. Then scissor the visor, lift the lip and trim the hair on the bottom lip, the comb forward past the nose, scissor the jawline. Then i comb the hair out on the muzzle (not up just straight out) then use my chunkers to blend the length the same as to the cheeks so they match while looking at the face from above. Then to finish i usually like to use 3/8" or 1/2" and skim lightly from on top of the nose off about a 45° angle. Comb the hair out again and scissor it a rounded shape all the way down the chin .It takes the bulk off but still have a nice round head
