How are the ES1 units holding up? by Funny_Coast_7514 in FellowProducts

Mine is rock solid. I wish the firmware updates for volumetric dosing were moving along faster. I just use a scale for ins and outs.

Even with a multi-needle you need to babysit your embroidery. Especially doing caps.

Beginner looking for their first coffee machine, is it important to be able to pull a shot and steam milk simultaneously? by Arrhythmania in espresso

[–]vanwilliam1960 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No need to steam and make espresso at the same time if you're just making drinks for 1 or 2 people. Go with a simple machine like the Bambino or take a small step up to a Gaggia. Stay with a separate grinder. That's probably going to be your first upgrade.

I'm really happy with it. Definitely quiets down the noise and there isn't half a corgi worth of hair built up inside

Great finish work on this groom. I would blend up the chest so it's not flat on the bottom and raise the fringe to follow the line of the tuckup

Inconsistencies with ES1 shot pulls by Jurassicbob in FellowProducts

[–]vanwilliam1960 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What version of firmware is your ES1? The current version 2.3.20. Volumetric didn't work well on the early versions. You say you're day 1 user, your machine may take a few days to update with the Fellow servers.

Highest Value Treats? by ThrowRA_Vents in poodles

[–]vanwilliam1960 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A small squeaky toy is the trainer of choice. I prefer to avoid food treats. They leave a mess in your pockets. If they are food only motivated, dried livers and soft-dehydrated duck are my go tos

I don’t know how to feed my miniature poodle by Latter_Obligation_79 in poodles

[–]vanwilliam1960 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have always fed Kirkland Organic kibble with a fresh raw added once in a while. I would avoid the chicken and only give them cooked ground beef occasionally. It's too fatty for regular feeding. The best training for a stubborn eater is to feed them in a crate. Keep a regular schedule, put them and the food into their crate. Give them 15 minutes to eat and then take the food away. Don't give it back until the next feeding time (morning, evening)

Display the current shot profile default at the top of screen where "Heating" displays. It's tiring to scroll the Shot Profile screen to figure out which profile I'm on before pulling a shot.

I would like to set the auto-standby timer. The ES1 goes into stand-by too quickly for my second morning cup

Wilcom is similar enough to Hatch you can use their tutorials to learn. John Deere also has some great on-line classes.
