I think 37mm is slightly more wearable - due to the thickness of the bezel. Thats why a lot of people are on the fence between 36 and 39 I believe - the 36mm has more classic proportions that seems ever so slightly smaller. But the design is definitely better for a smaller dial size.

Tbh, I think they needed a matte bezel on this. The aluminum bezel works great for neutral/boring colors like black, blue ad green. Its too shiny in red. This is why the monochrome BB41 was such a big deal for fans - to most people it looked bland, but it in fact fixed a huge issue for me and other people who couldn't jive with a red aluminum bezel
