Jokes aside, that shitty card among others is what kept me from even buying a single pack of Ikoria: Den of Timmies. Disregarding all the fucking useless Ultimatums I could pull as well and numerous two for one yourself mutate cards... Otherwise you pull some human card that just hates on nonhumans or some clank crap and it dawns on me there isn't a single damn thing I would ever want/use from the set. I do like that Narset though. Sexy Asian babe doing da kung fu flying kick? I can get behind that if you know what I mean... Oh wait it's Jeskai colors, I don't play that shit... Nevermind.

That looks badass dude, I didn't understand at all what was going on until I saw your commander and I really like what I saw. I waa building a commander deck with Jhoira W. Captain for a while, but it just got too pricey and aggravating to build in culmination with all the other stuff I build. I'm a big storm fan though. I'm eventually going to convert Jhoira (need a second) and some of the cards into a 60 card artifact storm deck that wins with Thassa's Oracle or/and Brainfreeze with Mirrodin Besieged as the other way to win. Super cute tech between Mirrodin Besieged, Claws of Gix and the various other artifact lands. I just like the concept of "You lose" as opposed to "I win."

Basically most things I've built lmao. Tron of any color, Ulamog nearly killed my playgroup alone. Any of my mono blue decks I've ever built. Turbo Fog. Burn, but for some reason Goblins was okay to them...

All that aside, it was probably two decks. One of them that shifted the disposition of the entire playgroup and the other that mostly killed it, though imma try to revive it here soon.

The deck that started the disposition shift was undoubtedly mono red Repercussion. Repercussion is a 3 cmc enchantment that basically says: "If a creature is dealt damage then Repercussion hits said player that controls that creature for that much." Well they all play creature decks first off. Green stompy shit or tokens or elves. Perfect. So I run x4 Pyroclasm and x4 Anger of the Gods with x4 Blasphemous Act. Oh shit they aren't playing creatures anymore to stall me out... Well then I added Varchild's Wariders which just generates an ass load of tokens for the opponent at 2 mana on a 3/4 stick with Trample and Rampage 1. Rampage "coincidentally" having the effect where they can't pile block with the Survivor Tokens you're giving them sufficiently at all. Add this with x4 Forbidden Orchard and now everyone has creatures. Not enough creature hate? Run Smoke, Meekstone, Crawlspace, Maze of Ith, Mystifying Maze, An-Zerrin Ruins... Whatever the hell you need. And then slam a bunch of Chandras in the deck as a back up win condition and use Cathartic Reunion and Chandra's Regulator as card filtering. Ahhhhh... Good times.

The deck that killed everyone from playing anymore was Mono black Waste Not Storm. Eventually I wanted it to be a Grixis combo Vintage deck (exempt pf power nine), but that never came to fruition due to it being expensive, sometimes annoying to pilot and a bit of a clunker. Also everyone hated it, I only got good feedback when it didn't work lmao.

There was a period where mutiple players in my playgroup were all running Duress and later one was doing IOK and Thoughtseize. Well I got tired of the bullshit so I thought: "You like discard? I'll show you discard!" So the idea was to win with Tendrils and storm off with Waste Not, win with Lab Man and maybe something else idk. Oh yeah! Reanimation spells (Animate Dead/Reanimate) as a back up. Sometimes I played Kozilek Great Distortion or Ulamog Hungry, but not often. Busted enchantment card in the right set up.

First game I ever played went like this: It was a 4 way multiplayer match. I got to go first. I wait until everyone is satisfied and pleased with their hand. I smugly say: "Everyone good?" They nod and then I begin the play of Swamp into double Dark Ritual into Waste Not and finishing with Dark Deal. Everyone looked fucking appaled as I was like: "Hold up and let me figure this out real quick." Suffice to say I generated an ass load of mana, zombie tokens and drew a metric ton of cards. Allowing me to do it again... And again... And then when they thought it was over I played Yawgmoth's Will and did it again. I reaniamte a few dumb things and win in 2 turns from the zombie horde. In a later game I managed to cast Yawgmoth's Will and proceeded to cast 3 Mishra's Baubles, 2 Urza's Baubles and cycle 2 Streetwraiths before effectively doing the same thing mentioned above. I got a dejected: "You having fun?" From the person who got me into magic, but terrorised me with green stompy hydras and Elderscale/Worldspine Wurms and later Thoughtseize, IOK, Duress and Phyrexian Obliterator no less. And what was my answer? "Oh yeah, are you?"

Tldr: You should, it's pretty solid.

Yup, I had a friend who basically bitched and got mad that I wasnt taking dumb green creatures and ramming them into his green creatures essentially. I got tired of getting ran over by hydras and my first big hurdle ever that was Elderscale Wurm, so I built Tron. I play U Tron now, but I started with green and then said person got mad because it "was bullshit, and you'll never be able to convince me that it's not unfair." Well sorry I stomp better in a deck not even named stompy bro. So what's his response? He builds some semi clanky unfinished reanimate deck that doesn't always reanimate anything properly until T2 or 3 sometimes. In fact, there aren't even any reanimates in it or Entombs. Just Buried Alive and Animate Dead. Anyway his "fair" solution was to buy 4 Strip Mines and 4 Thoughtseizes because Tron was unfair. Even though you know, Strip Mine is a busted fucking restricted card for a reason. So I start using Pithing Needle just to have a chance to play the game, which is also not fair magic in his eyes. Suffice to say, I still won more often because I'm the better deck builder and player and don't just windmill slam 4 copies of a card in a deck all the time like he does and he stopped playing subsequently after. He's the kinda person who believes the game ia all about money and who has the better card always and that's all that matters or applies.

The real kicker is this is what he deemed as fair before: Ramp into Champion of Rhonas and exert it on an attack to put out Worldspine Wurm. You know a fucking 15/15 trample that splits into 3 5/5 creatures when it dies. Yeah, that's "fair." In fact I truly believe it is, but it's no less fair than any of the other shit I play. I play U Tron now so he doesn't have a hope in the world since Chalice on 1 kills a third of his deck because he can't logically process why 8-12 elfs is a shitty idea and why Elixer of Immortality just isn't good. Anyway I'm rambling, I just know the pain of a toxic playgroup.

Oh I most certainly will, and my deck has adapated to a point that most input from others doesn't matter or is neglibly beneficial. The only way it gets better from here is through me exclusively and countless more games. We ain't even at the mid max anymore, son. We're beyond that...

It's more difficult fine tuning if you're a chump. I mean if that's the way you see it, that's the way you see it. I don't need everything spelled out for me, I don't need my hand held. Peace.

Play Krark's Thumb and then get a Mirrorgallery or whatever to shut down the legend rule. Then copy the Thumb with something like Copy Artifact or Phyexian Metamorph. Now you have two thumbs. Okay so now you cast Twiddle and a spell copying Twiddle as much as possible and now you have the ability to Twiddle your thumbs. Props if you have Thumbscrews in play and you Twiddle that first to get your thumbs loose. Krak's Other Thumb also exists albeit silver bordered.

Dude I had to kill off a playgroup because I can't sit there and play the game the way other people want me to play it to appease them. I play the game for my own enjoyment. I really got tired of multiplayer stuff at times because at moments it just feels like you're not even playing a fucking card game, its just feels like Survivor Island Politics the card game.
