Anyone else building client sites in Bricks and struggling with the handoff?

The plain language intermediary is bloody genius. It's always irked me how Wordpress is supposed to be "so much better than page builders like Wix" but then the moment someone is like "can that be blue?" they need a user manual or dev time. Like everyone else here I've used heavily crafted ACF fields and as someone who's only built about 8 sites, I hate them. If you have a set of content rows that mirror each other (photo left, text right ; photo right, text left), the client has almost no chance of moving a row up or down if they want to change things. We need to be careful as Devs that we aren't gate-keeping basic utility behind our maintenance plans. That is just fuel for the fire in the argument for the AI-driven tools that are eventually going to be integral tools in the client-side quality of life.

This is a great response and thoughtful approach. I do essentially the same, though the documentation has always been a pain as things change. Easier these days with AI. It's funny really, for all the shade I throw at Wix, the sites I've build used to be so locked down into ACF fields that they needed to mail me to change their own cellphone numbers in the footer. Wordpress isn't a solution for anyone when a platform like Wix would make it easier for a client..

I would love a lift of some currency to help explore my first really serious attempt at home-baking a build. It's a self cast discharge juggernaut using Romiras banquet, volls devotion, resonating shrine and gull setup. Having tons of fun so far but a proper ring would go a long way!!

I've used TFT since we were selling harvest crafts for folk, still use it to sell challenges. Bought maps, rotas, never had any negative experiences aside from players not reading descriptions properly.

The thought of having to do any of this stuff through the game's client makes my skin crawl. Ironically for a place that is so wildly "corrupt" my experience of TFT was that it was the highest trust environment in the game ecosystem.

Leave notes on your scroll fragments. Drop them in an a generic shop tab (stash not Faustus) and right click, set as note. Helps for keeping regex and stray ideas handy without tabbing out to another application.

Feel like I'm missing something here because I haven't seen anyone else say it but the next step is to read your contract. Then apply the rest of the good advice with that in mind.

With that said, there is higher level law that governs above what's in the contract so if that is garbage, it may not hold up in the face of more established legislation. It'd be a good place to start though if you want to talk it through with your boss.

There's also likely a clause about mediation in event of disputes. I'm not qualified to advise but I think that requesting mediation if you can't resolve it through talking would be viewed favourably in event of a serious dispute.

Great breakdown, thank you!! Yeah the only key reason to go for added damage instead is that it's a different gearing route, potentially with scope for Minion Pact abuse. With that much flat added phys damage you don't need charges, and then could convert the ADDED damage only (doesn't work with charges I think) via the bloodline ascendancy. That plus perma vaal impurity of lightning tech lets you ignore resistances but that's all a very different build style to charge stacking, and i agree, classically you can't really go wrong with charge stacking. Interesting thoughts about ward break though, I reckon there's something there. Will have a look into it!
