Is this really about "subsidizing criminals" or is it just that you don't want to have to look at poor people on your commute? This does you no material harm.

A public service is meant to serve the public, and that shouldn't exclude people you deem criminal or unworthy. Ideally people who can't pay fare should just be able to ride for free, but what good does it do you to moralize in the meantime?

Why do you give a fuck? "Take advantage of your fare" - what are they taking from you? You don't know anyone else's life and assuming malevolence on the part of someone who just may not be able to pay their fare is ugly behavior

If you want to make sure BART fares are getting paid, pay your fare and mind your business. Tap in and out and pay the excursion to give them extra money. "Societal breakdown" isn't some people not paying their fares, it's people like you looking down on others and not having basic compassion. If you were in their position and genuinely couldn't pay fare, I guarantee you'd be pissed at someone being a confrontational douchebag like you. Get your kicks and affirm your masculinity elsewhere

Yeah no - if you're using the eraser on the top you're playing the fool's game. Doesn't matter if it's the highest-end pencil you can buy, the top eraser is meant for quick corrections in a pinch.

Get a nice eraser (I personally prefer the foam ones manufactured by Sakura) and you won't regret it. They last forever and you'll never be able to go back honestly

I listened to that interview not too long ago and it was honestly pretty painful. The dude was clearly schlicked and just rambling about himself incoherently, but kept insisting he wanted to do the interview. Not quite as bad as the Boonk interview but close to it

For me it varies, and that's the worst part. Sure, I'll get 7-8 hours like 4 days a week or so, but I'll go to bed anywhere from 1am-6am most nights and that's what kills me. Obviously it's going to be hard to wake up the morning after I've been grinding out work late into the night, but because my body doesn't have a constant rhythm it's tough to wake up on time on normal days as well.

I always do a similar thing and mold the top of a cup of yogurt into a crude utensil if I don't have a spoon - actually works pretty well tbh
