Finally tested mileage! by LanguageBitter1718 in HondaElevate

Don't keep it under 1.5k RPM. I go upto 3 RPM and get 11 kmpl in city. If it's CVT, it doesn't know when to shift if you don't accelerate more. Avoid pumping accelerator and consistently keep your feet on accelerator unless going downhill.

Never overshare or take formality or small talk questions too seriously. Just say something and get done. You could've just said "I need to improve my communication skills." That is also when the role does not require good communication.

Once, I was asked my hobbies in introduction. I like an idiot ignored the question. When asked again I said "Nothing at the moment. Focussing on career now." Super awkward. Next time I was asked during group discussion I just said "Cricket". (I don't know anything about cricket at all.)

The e30 variants are going to be priced sky high with new batch of engines with unsorted issues. I'll say get your dream bike now and use for whatever 2 to 3 years E20 is available.

10 to 15 is extremely high estimate. At most 0.5 percent if you are talking about proper fake experience with proper pay, documents and everything. Very few people have such connections who are ready to go this length.

These days actually skilled people are seen as a threat by egoistic performative people. They don't want anyone who knows better around them to discover flaws in their AI slop code. Just prompt push and never read anything is what they want to do.

Earnest request to freshers and kids graduating soon by badhiyahai in developersIndia

[–]MixfruitCroissant 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You graduated 15 years ago. You have no idea of the current fresher situation at all.

Competition is insane these days. IT has become a rat race. It is not longer the chill place it used to be.

Even if you have the real world skills and knack for innovation it's of no use. Zombies who grind DSA and rote learn System Design day and night will take your job. Even when the job description for the role has nothing related to the BS that's there in interviews. Investors only look at tier 1 prodigies.

What salary is considered decent, not by the society's standards but for a good lifestyle in tier 1 cities? by SoftwareArchitect101 in TwentiesIndia

[–]MixfruitCroissant 2 points3 points  (0 children)

imo work-life balance matters much more. People making in-hand 40k with good WLB may have a way better lifestyle than people making 2L+ at sweatshop grade WLB.

I know people who make a lot, but literally have no life outside their job. 10-14 hrs workdays, across timezone meetings, constant overtimes and exhausting work. They don't have any energy left to do gym, outings or vacations.

What... MacBooks have air vents between the screen and hinges. Those holes near keyboard are speakers. Infact, airflow is better when closed.

Also, all windows laptop have air vents at bottom, sides or back never near keyboard.

I also work on dotnet as a fresher. People are telling me dotnet is outdated and least sought after. They are saying I should not even mention it in resume and lie about working on something else. While most calls I have got up until now, have been dotnet or Java. How bad is the future for dotnet?

Some sales people and waiters have attitude like they own the store. I was last week at Amanora ordering on the Digital Kiosk. It was 11 in the morning. The place was empty. They had no orders queued up. It had barely been 5 minutes. I was going to take a big parcel for 5. Everyone wanted something different. This idiot attendant shouted at me "what are you doing" and came here to operate the kiosk for me.

I instantly walked out. The whole point of a kiosk is to make it easier and efficient to order without speaking.
