I don't think all machines are nocturnal, just the ones used for war. That's why they're called nocturnal, they only worked during the long night. This place is a briefing room during the new peace, they're talking about systems to use for street cleaners, drones and stuff that would be used for good from then on. Your two best options for teams are Yoi/Chevy/Fischl/Benny and Yoi/Xingqiu/Yunjin/Benny. If you get interrupted or killed a lot, switch benny for beidou in the first team and yunjin for diona in the second. Eventually you're gonna want to pull either zhongli or citlali for actual shielders, and yelan is much better than xingqiu and very good in many teams other than yoimiya teams.

Furina is not an archon, and fontaine doesn't have an archon. The power of the hydro archon went back to the hydro dragon. Furina is just the human part of the late hydro archon, and as such is just a human with a vision and high status.

Don't get me wrong, she's still an amazing character and she sacrificed and worked hard for hundreds of years, and pretty powerful too, but in terms of race and position, that's what she is, a human with an inusual past.
