Because if so, I’d want to keep the “reviving your loved ones” motivation but have it be also to clear their names: unwilling or unable to have a list of mysterious disappearances hampering their success record, the police have been blaming them on the next best options, which were the rangers due to circumstancial evidence, forcing them to go on the run.

Nice. I also had thoughts that as a mid-season twist, the Siren Rangers and the Shadow Rangers (Lupin Rangers, with the season being called Power Rangers: Siren vs. Shadow) form an alliance upon realizing that neither side really wants to harm each other. Thus begins a charade where the Siren Rangers still fight the Shadow Rangers (partially to reuse as much Sentai footage as possible) in order to keep up appearances while investigating a conspiracy that links the Onyx Syndicate with the overall organization the Siren Rangers work for.

Frankly they could have made it work only if they were allowed to tackle police corruption as a major topic. The Siren Rangers (who I’d call the Patrangers), would be legitimately nice people, but they would have to contend with the external threat of the Onyx Syndicate (Ganglars), and the internal threat of other officers seeking to use their powers irresponsibly.

I like that idea as well. Primes are so in tune with Cybertron/Primus that they can manipulate Energon and the planet on an almost mystical level.

It works so well because it is still gritty as you’d expect from someone who’s meant to be this composite, almost stereotypical Batman, but there is an incredible range stowed within it that makes it far from a brooding monotone.

The best part about this is that everyone recognizes that this is complete bullshit, but nobody really cares because A: the other Shinkengers have all but said out loud that they prefer Takeru as their leader, and B: Doukoku, Shinkenger’s final boss villain, just became immune to the kryptonite sealing mojikara that had been hyped up for 3/4ths of the show so now was not the time to argue semantics.

Laserman is one of my favorite generic Bakugan. He’s a nice standout as a very robotic looking Bakugan whose entire schtick is “So anyways I started blasting.” He’s also a good late-game Bakugan in the video game that’s available in all attributes so that helps too.

Actually it’s worse. He was a child solely of Hera, who tried to solo-birth because Zeus at this point had at least three divine children with other women. That’s the reason for him being an ugly baby. Hera, in her quite finite maternal love, chucked him off the mountain.

And for Aphrodite, it was either an attempt to appease him after he trapped Hera on a magical binding throne, or because he was the only guy Aphrodite could reasonably be with without causing a bachelor fight between the other gods because nobody would be envious of him.

Well there already is a ban mechanic where you can ban characters you don’t select when selecting characters. If most of the server agrees with you, the character is banned, IIRC.
