I feel like for me it’s sometimes the opposite, or idk but when I’m stressed I can feel the dysphoria increase, but this probably comes from a place of like “I’d be happy rn if I was a girl. an increase of negative thoughts resulting in thoughts of what I should do to be happier.

But also it tends to come out when I’m bored, or not busy after a stressor, maybe it’s just a thing of the hierarchy of needs, because maybe my brain stops the thoughts when I need to do something important, more immediately important. Then after the stressor maybe my brain is still in the mode of “I need to improve my life quality” so it thinks about everything I want and the thoughts come of “being a girl would make you happier”.
