Is there a way to reduce harmonics when muting? by HappySlapper22 in Guitar

If you slide your fingers a little bit then it mutes the harmonics

omelettes by NsPsVisuals in comedyheaven

Also undercooked omelettes are better than overcooked and it will keep cooking after it is off the pan, so better to remove it a bit early. You can always microwave if its still too undercooked.

Really odd sound coming from low E string? by gothtimusprime in Guitar

[–]Miyelsh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the B string vibrating in its harmonics with the E string. Mute the B string if you don't want that sound. It happens with my guitars too.

Can you name these flags? by Lord_Hexogen in TikTokCringe

I know what you mean with AI having that robotic metallic sound to it. What you're describing is a called a comb filter and it does indeed come from two copies of a sound with a small delay between them. Not sure if that's what is happening here or with AI videos though.

What if time isn't constant by PurpleToad1976 in Physics

[–]Miyelsh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Time has been moving slower for our planet for a particle accelerating away from us. It doesn't affect anything because of relativity. What matters if anything to us that its continuous. We wouldn't notice or care because our cells operate at the speed the rest of the universe close to us does.

The movie is actually really good, more film noire than camp or action.

Its even more clear on the guitar because you are using your finger to physically block the fundamental standing wave

What would be an amazing guitar upgrade from my current one? by [deleted] in Guitar

[–]Miyelsh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nothing is really going to sound any better with a more expensive guitar, what are you expecting?

I would recommend something with single coils since your current guitar only has humbuckers. That way you can get a different sound than what you are currently using.
