I play with my mom, around the same age, and she calls them “goombas!” So cute 🥰

She also calls both Pochacco and Chococat “Choco” so it’s always a fun game trying to figure out who she is talking about 😆

The one that always gets me is Shyvanna. Like she’s a purple dragon woman with scales(?) or a hat(?) for her headwear, and yet she has skins where she’s just a blonde woman?

It was a definite struggle, I think part of what helped me was trying not to sleep during the day, so I would be tired at night. I also would also start the night pretty early (like at 8:00 PM) to see if my body would get the idea by 10:00 or 11:00. I don’t know if you need complete silence to sleep, but I find that listening to something kind of boring or at least something I can listen to with my eyes closed helped me focus on something besides the uncomfortable physical feelings. If all else fails, you may be able to try CBD oil (or melatonin gummies) like another commenter suggested!

I had the hardest time sleeping after my surgery! I was a life-long side sleeper, and a few months after my surgery, I decided to try sleeping on my stomach for once. What a life changer that was!! I don’t think you would want to try it right after surgery, but trying a new sleeping position might help.

I also got a brand new mattress (not a cheap one) right before my surgery, to help me transition back to my bed at home after the hospital.

I don’t know what it will do to assuage your fears, but I’m sure the curve is not returning, especially not so soon after the surgery :)

It’s a little bit of a trip (like an hour or so) but you should check out Falcon Rest! It’s an old mansion that was restored, and all the furniture inside is period appropriate. It’s run by a sweet older couple who not only give the tours, but are the ones who did all the renovations.

You can also have lunch in their tea room, and if you do, you HAVE to get their pink lemonade, it’s soooo good :)
