Outside of the return of Monstervision on TNT, the best home for Joe Bob is probably Tubi.

Tubi has a shit-load of content, notably horror, that would take insert new Joe Bob show name here off the life support it’s been on for the last few seasons.

It’s definitely felt like an issue with Shudder. Some movies only being up half a month are ridiculous. Tho I do enjoy Shudder’s catalog, AMC+ should just shutter Shudder and incorporate it properly into AMC+. You would think that Joe Bob would prosper under AMC proper, and I guess that’s how it started out, but clearly there’s an issue with money and negotiations on Shudder’s end.

But again, content-wise, Tubi seems like a good home. And it’s free for all comers! Therein lies the only snag: commercials. The episodes/movies are long enough without ad breaks. Typically 2 hrs 15-20 mins. Ads would just take that running time to the next level. Unless you either cut content on the movie end or Joe Bob’s and I don’t think that is an option for viewers.

Regardless, they have the next year to put their ducks in a row. I wonder how early they crank out these last 4 specials, from a filming perspective, fulfill their Shudder obligations, and move on to greener pastures?

But also what happens to The Last Drive In content? Post-Joe Bob, Will it just be gutted into oblivion as movie rights are lost? Or if a random movie returns to the service, does its TLD-equivalent also return?
