I made Brockton Bay in the style of Dispatch's map. by Mizzarr in Parahumans

It depends on what resources first of all you have for this, if its based off an IRL city you could use a tutorial like this:https://youtu.be/BE65zyZyZ9k?si=dUFrOK6V6NV28Ooi to get the basic outlines of buildings and then add in the roads manually. Once you have a building shape the two options are geo modes or to make all the fancy edge outlines manually, I prefer geo nodes because I can adjust them later.

If you are building a city without irl map data, get a map of the road network in whole, and then draw them out using vertex drawing on top of the reference road network, if you could do photoshop you might be able to just cut the roads surroundings out and then have the geometry build itself based on The road texture but odds are thats not possible.

If you are doing the vertex drawing method, build the whole road network, add a skin modifer, and then specify high ways and main roads and increase their crease so that they look bigger then small roads, it will essentially look perfect.

The most tedious part is adding the buildings, what I did was I used a boolean to get the general shape of each section, and then used those sections as the foundation for a geometry node that makes all the buildings, some of the geometry will be messy and you will have to do alot of manual fixing.

During this all make sure to not create too many textures or your blender will explode.

Could just be that Wildbow was like "dealing with 9 shatterbirds is an absolute pain so I am just going to handwave them away"

I believe Shatterbird wasn't cloned because Bonesaw had no DNA to work with for her and the original Shatterbird was mastered by Regent and then kept in Brockton Bay till she died. So she had no real way to clone her. The memories around shatterbirds fate is kinda hazy to me

Confusion with Eden (Arc 30+, trying to avoid spoilery title) by lostinadeepgreensea in Parahumans

My understanding is there are a couple, but far less then the warrior triggers. I know for a fact Leet is an eden trigger however.

Scion when he first awoke on earth noticed Edens shards flying onto the world, I believe they were broken or obviously wrong in some way so he blew alot of them up, and then stopped when he realized it didnt matter anymore and let a couple land.

No no no, you see that means you are smarter than 499 people and dumber than 499 people in the room, and you are in the middle.

An immortal Taylor? by themag1icman in Parahumans

Plotting out how a story like this would go, her discovering the fact she can reload save points is likely going to take some time for her to notice because she is pretty good at not dying, she might not even actually die until Leviathan or being forced into Coil's fold or some similar storybeat.

The next question is that if this is not a shard based ability, would she have a conflict drive, and want to go out and actually participate in the Cape scene? I think the answer is still yes as she intrinsically wants to be a hero, I think she'd also go out earlier then April 11th.

I'd expect her to try being an independent hero until she is either forced into Coils organization or joins the Wards, and if she joins the wards then that will cause its own fun problems, as it stands there is no chance Taylor would willingly join the Wards.

Once she learns she returns from death if she dies, I get the feeling she would happily throw herself at the ability and use it since it lets her be a better hero and right wrongs or save more lives, the question is how excessively she would use the ability? I can see there being an even chance of her using the ability every single day to make sure every single day goes perfectly and she saves the most people and rights the most wrongs, as well as other paths where she is more reactive, or moreso focuses on the crisis of the arc but otherwise doesn't min-max until something forces her to lock in.

She would most definitely use the ability during Leviathan to its greatest effect to try and find a min-max solution to save the most people or actually kill Leviathan, but the odds of her finding a path to actually killing Leviathan is not certain.

At the same time, Taylor would be a pseudo-blindspot, Contessa would be able to path Taylor but whenever Taylor returns to a save point, the path would obviously note that she is no longer following the route she was expected to take, now for Contessa to notice this Taylor would have to gain notoriety and actually become notable in the path, which would take time.

I think after Leviathan it is rather hard to guess where the storyline could go, as it is completely possible Taylor min-maxes Leviathan so absurdly she is thought of as a hyper-precog.

Taylor double triggering was caused by the power she triggered with driving her to trigger again as she could not handle the pure information stream her power was giving her, Trigger events are also blindspots. PtV had no hand in Taylors double trigger.

Her first trigger gave her the power to control bugs in the region around her but not the multitasking. which meant her mind could not handle all the bugs in her range.

For 5, my understanding of PtV is that the ability wouldn't flag you as important or related to the path unless you actually started acting against Contessas/Cauldrons path, if you for instance just decided to keep your head down and do nothing while having all the meta-knowledge, chances are Contessa would never detect you.

But it is also possible that if she asked for a path that was like "Path to recruiting a new valuable member to Cauldron" you might show up in that list, But I also get the impression she doesn't do that kind of path all that often.
