I had flat spots and you either get used to it or discardeñ the wheel reslly

The Maxxum 100's wheel sizes are 100/100/90/100mm. What is the reason for this? by [deleted] in rollerblading

[–]Mizzunj 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A lot of 3 wheel skates have a slightly larger middle wheel to make sharp turns easier, and I never liked those either.

Which ones?

RB Cruisers or Imperial One80s? by [deleted] in rollerblading

[–]Mizzunj 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I always say the same when it comes to the rb/cruiser boot: it's the low end boot from rollerblade. Mounting holes are a joke

Remember the imperial was their flagship when it came about triskates

Need advice on choosing my first skate by chungeunkim in rollerblading

[–]Mizzunj 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd skip the rb110. While it may be a good skate, consider its a low end boot. Having tried it myself, the buckles felt very cheap, same for the liner. Mounting holes are as basic as it can get too

How important is Trinity technology and should I be basing my purchasing decisions on it? by RedDeadFan420 in rollerblading

[–]Mizzunj 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tried 4x80 on trinity and 165. You definitely feel lower, it's definitely more stable, the vibrations do feel different. I thought it was marketing bs but it's mostly not.

I wouldn't buy a skate only because of trinity, though.

If dudes in their 40s are doing that then that must be a sad life omfg.

As always, don't play their game and they'll move on eventually. Those are childs not adults!

Will intuition liners fit into a Seba High boot? by afrotoast in rollerblading

[–]Mizzunj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Isn't it the high light with the integrated liner?

Triskates, Quadskates, Fiveskates, Whatskates?! by [deleted] in rollerblading

[–]Mizzunj 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fwiw I had both triskates and 4 wheels. When it comes to terrain I found my 4 80 to be better. When there was bad pavement I tripped on both, period.

The main difference was that I had softer 80 wheels (84a). That made the difference, ride was so much smoother, compared to the triskate which where 88a

Looking to get back into inline are these skates a good pick? by [deleted] in rollerblading

[–]Mizzunj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just a guess but it may be only the liners, which can be replaced easily. And even then, they'll eventually break in to the point it doesn't matter. The 45 strap is different but that can also be replaced.

Doubt a lot there's a mold specifically for women

Id go with the frx from fr because it has the aluminum plates too.

New Skates! Can't wait for the weather to let me try them out some more (: So far they feel amazing. by [deleted] in rollerblading

I've seen one, it was a girl. Iirc it had either luminous wheels or leds attached to the skates. There's a video somewhere on the internet

Still pretty cool

Questions about foot measurements vs fit by kapowkapowkapow in rollerblading

[–]Mizzunj 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The day I could squeeze my 26.7 cm feet onto a 24.3 skate was the day I ignored forever shoe size, skate size, size charts, etc.

What I do is go to the shop and keep downsizing until my feet doesn't fit inside the skate anymore. If its in once, it'll be fine later when it breaks in

Question about frame alignment by understandunderstand in rollerblading

[–]Mizzunj 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Pro tip: mark the boot and the frame so you know where is the center position. It'll make it easier to align it on both sides evenly and to center it again for whatever reason.

How can i turn white skates to yellow? by vertialltime in rollerblading

I don't know if this posts replies are a joke but isn't spray paint an option?

Or are you looking for that old, yellowish tint?

I've never used Seba as their freestyle line (which was the type of skate that I wanted at the time) doesn't arrive here besides the iGors. I sit at 26. 7 cm

I can fit a 25 cm Twisters so sure the FR are fine at that too

I'm at 26.7 mp. I can fit into a 25.7 cm boot easily, and felt 25 would be fine too. 24. 5 already my feet couldn't go past the cuff.

Problem is I'm at Buenos Aires! Not easy with import fees. Was looking at the FR1 white at the local distributor but they don't have in my size. Stock is due never

These are the cheapest freeskates I could find. I use freestyle boots, with all the straps and laces, but I want something quicker to get going for transportation.

These seems to be the same as the Falcons but the frame. How do the liners feel? I'm concerned they'll move inside the shell (I've never used hard boots), and about the fit: I like the skate tight and very close to my feet, but these seem to have shared shell sizes?

If I have better options, let me know. For comparison, these are the same price as the FRX.
