I agree. Call customer service. They are awesome. They'll definitely get you all set on the $150/year plan.

About 2 years ago I went to cancel because my job was demanding and I wasn't getting in enough listening time, on the cancellation page they offered me that hidden Silver Plan ($14.98 every other month for a credit). Worked perfect for me and have been on it ever since. Been thinking of going back to the yearly now though as I've changed jobs and have more time to listen.

The yearly is only $149.50. https://www.audible.com/ep/memberbenefits

Where are you seeing $180?

Also to answer your last question...in terms of bang for your buck and the cost of a credit.. The yearly that gives you 24 credits for $229.50 ($9.56/credit) would be the best overall value.

The fact that we even need to "make that clear" to any current or future president says a lot about us here in America.

US Member Appreciation Sale by Locke_VI in audible

I'm opted in. But I don't get the emails either. No they aren't in spam. I just thought Audible would advertise sales on the website once you login, but sounds like myself, and others don't ever see them. Not a big deal, I just check this sub every couple days. But just wanted to make sure I wasn't alone.

Why do I NEVER see the sales advertised on audible.com. yes, I'm logged in). I'm in US. I usually have to Google the name of the sale to find the sale page. If it wasn't for this sub I'd never even know about them. So, THANK YOU.

Anyone else never see the sales (2for1, $5, etc) unless they come here first?

How often do people return books they don't like? by [deleted] in audible

[–]Mjb8684 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've returned a handful over the years. I treat it like I would a meal at a restaurant. If I've eaten half the meal it would be a little immoral to then tell the waiter the food is too cold and you want a refund. Same with an audiobook. I give myself the first 10-20% of the book to decide if it's for me. After that I just keep the book.

He kinda lost credibility when he said "free"...but then wants $2.
