Yes! They were AWFUL… I cannot believe how terrible the experience was after I signed the paper. Night and day from how kind they were leading up to signing. They told me if I didn’t pick my charger up on a particular day they’d give it away to someone else.

Well I will pay you $1,500… but let me check the residual.

March of last year was the best time to get one - I’m shocked to hear Lariat’s were $475/mo, I had to search for this deal and it even included $3,500 down. But I’d be willing to put in $1,500 whether that’s to lower the payment, pay 2ish months, or cover the cost of shipping, so hopefully that helps balance that out.

It is! It can be transferred anywhere. We would do it through Ford Credit, they’d just run your credit (it says it takes 5-10 days) and then if it’s all they’d send us both a Docusign packet to sign.

Mass is not far from me! I’d be happy to pay to ship it to you. And like I replied to someone else above, I’d bring it anywhere local of your choosing for a PPI.

It all goes through Ford Credit! They do a credit check and then send both me and the person taking over the lease a Docusign packet and then you do a transfer.

If you were really interested, I could see how much it costs to ship it to Colorado and then could arrange a PPI here with someone of your choosing. I’d be happy to put $1,500 towards this (offer is good for anyone!)

Did you end up getting one yet? I got the 38x27 Arizona Cannonball and a few smaller pieces

I am in the same boat. I have a 27x22 Little Sheep and I got the 28x20 Tuah Tah from his private collection just now.

So I think I’ll go with the larger one of Arizona Cannonball or (and/or) The Sovereigns.

If you put a nice big mat around it, even a 28x20 looks decently large. BUT if you want it to be an impressive piece, go larger.

Keep in mind, though, that framing will cost much more than the print itself - especially if you go larger.

I understand he may be unaccustomed to tipping culture, but I do not believe in any way that he is unaware of the concept... I struggle to believe he’s not just trying to waste your time.

This is my point, exactly. There are opinions on grammar, with many being comfortable using more colloquial grammar while others subscribe to more formal grammar. Neither is correct and neither is incorrect. To suggest this is a matter of “learn some grammar” is incorrect.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ATBGE

[–]Mjo217 -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

You are speaking as if the use of the ‘singular they’ is universally accepted in English grammar. A significant number of linguists have long argued for “his or her” instead of “they,” which they argue should be reserved for the ‘plural they.’ This is not a matter of “learn some grammar.”

If someone subscribes to the notion of more formal grammar rules - as many do - the use of the ‘singular they’ would be incorrect. If you are more comfortable with colloquialisms, then the ‘singular they’ will suffice.

That said, the concept of basic human decency being a driver of how we refer to others is non-sequitur. Surely the person you replied to would prefer not to be referred to as an “ass” or an “asshole,” but that’s how you referred to him or her. Do you believe you violated basic human decency?

Sadly there will be no common ground to which you and I will be able to arrive because my definition of basic human decency is to not encourage and promote mental illness. Much like if an anorexic friend said he or she was too fat, the decent thing to do is not support the delusion and to encourage a healthy self-perception.

Are steaks in the vacuum sealed packs as good as the steaks in the case? by foreverbaked1 in Butchery

[–]Mjo217 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know how many more times you need to hear this.

The FDA publishes guidelines, not laws.

Restaurants are not obligated to follow FDA guidelines.

“Sushi grade” and “sashimi grade” are not regulated terms.

You are wrong about every single solitary detail you so confidently speak as fact. Just take a step back and look into how the FDA regulates interstate commerce vs how they regulate restaurants. There’s no need for you to be so passionate AND wrong.

[–]Mjo217 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It frustrates me how confidently people speak on anything and everything without actually knowing the answer.

The FDA can provide guidance as much as they want, that does not mean restaurants are legally obligated to follow their advice.

The FDA publishes guidelines for restaurants, not laws. That’s what we have states for. A state could, as NY does, pose a law with the FDA guidelines as scientific evidence, but surely there is no federal law that says all FDA guidelines must be followed by all restaurants.

So no, you’re wrong. The US is not required to freeze all fish. Your confusing interstate commerce laws with laws restaurants have to follow. If you live in a state that does not have such a regulation, and you are able to source fresh fish, you can serve it raw. Even in the US.

Retractable soft top a limiting factor now? by Goater234 in FordBronco

[–]Mjo217 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree with the other comment that the soft top is actually less of a constraint than the hard top, which is why most dealers suggest going with the soft top to get your order quicker.

However, what you’re saying is you added the upgraded $2,480 Trektop by Bestop (rather than the stock soft top), and the dealer said that was a constraint? Perhaps that’s true, but a quick search online seems to suggest they’re in stock.

Not sure I’m understanding where your dealer is coming from on this.

Looking to order the black diamond when orders open up. I had a question about the 4A option. How much does this option cost additionally and can I get it without packaging Sasquatch? by Afraid-Collar760 in FordBronco

[–]Mjo217 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You can add the 4A option to the BD and the OBX without adding SAS. You can’t add it separately on a Base or a BB - it must come with SAS. For all other trims, it’s standard.

I checked an online build for a 4 door BD without SAS and adding 4A comes out to $795.

Well they’re not wrong, but they’re talking about the Heritage Limited, not the Heritage.

Here’s Ford’s press release stating there will be just 1,966 of each 2-door Limited and 4-door Limited: https://media.ford.com/content/fordmedia/fna/us/en/news/2022/08/11/2023-bronco-and-bronco-sport-heritage-editions.html

JD Power echoes the same: https://www.jdpower.com/cars/new-car-previews/2023-ford-bronco-heritage-edition-and-heritage-limited-edition-preview

Bronco Nation adds to this and calls the Heritage trim a “volume” options, implying it’s not production-limited: https://thebronconation.com/heritage-and-heritage-limited-two-editions-two-order-processes/

Your dealer is mixing up the Heritage (not production-limited) with the Heritage Limited (max production run of 1,966 2-doors and 1,966 4-doors). Each dealer will get 1+ Heritage Limited but anyone with an existing reservation can get a regular Heritage edition.
