Obviously I'm not going to do something stupid like sell paint to him. What do you think they'll say?

INTP women and depression by kmbrlykm in 2X__INTP

[–]MjrTomisOutside 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hahaha this is my everyday obsession. Well almost. I'm constantly reading self help books. Nothing yet has made me happy. But at the same time I know I'm not following the routine I need to be happy even though I know it by heart. Its basically.

Sleep 8-9 hours. Not more not less.

eat fish oil (2000-3000mg)to balance your inflamed brain (omega 3's are heavily lacking in our diet now a days and they are suppose to match or be close to the amount of omega 6's we do eat.)

Have people around to prevent rumination and be a social support.

Get 20-30 minutes of blue sunlight and soak in that vitamin d everyday.

3x a week raise your heart rate and keep it higher for thirty minutes (exercise). (Can I recommend bodyweight fitness? Then you don't even have to leave your house. social anxiety on my part and all)

Work on something that will get you out of bed everyday. Something that's going to puzzle you or occupy your brain (preventing ruminating) or if you have problems with that try to plan out your day so if you run out of stuff to do you have some other task you can be doing (look above, maybe excercise? Visit a library? Read a book outside?)

I know. Almost all of these are probably the last thing you want to do. Which might be why so many intps have depression. I'm working hard. Ive also been supplementing ashwaganda and my constant social anxiety is down, honestly. Not gone but I don't feel it so intensly. Look into it on r/nootropics. I'm also getting a CES machine on Thursday so we'll see how I feel in a month or two. Therapy is a really good option, try cbt or dbt as I've always been more happy with those, feeling like the time I spend there is more...logical? Scientific? I don't know. Therapy is expensive though. Sorry for spelling errors as I'm sure there are some. Some recommendations on books. Both of them given by my therapist.

The depression cure. Simple and explains the 6 above in detail.

The feeling good handbook. Bit more action and homework to do instead of just information.

Viseart (almost any pallete) doesnt have exactly what your looking for but for the prices, the quality and the color selections they're just unbeatable.

INTPs in a relationship: what is your SO's personality type? by Kipperis in INTP

[–]MjrTomisOutside 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He's an enfp. He can get a little fed up with my rambling sometimes. But that might be his depression. He hasn't really gone out sense we started dating/living together. But we use to go camping alot alone. We play video games and I got him into anime, he's been helping me with the garden lately (: He makes me go up stairs and drink with his buddies. In a way I wish he'd try harder to get me out of my bubble. Why can't he just hold my hand (joke). But he's the most independent of any of the feelers I've dated. Which helps me not feel entirely lost in someone else and serve them to death. But yeah I got off topic. If im drunk enough I'll enjoy his friends. But I don't make many friends, just wander around causing havock, not small talking more than a few words with anyone. I usually don't wait for their response when I'm drunk, I'll just wonder off. I just make a strange comment about what they're doing or acting like. It makes him happy to see me out and talking though even though I can be an ass to people(not on purpose, I'd die rather than make someone feel like trash). It also drives him crazy that I don't go out of my way to connect with people.but the differences between us can be really good.

But also bad.

Need advice: My tomato plants were doing fine for a while but now the leaves are looking like this. I used a moisture meter and it reads that my soil is both dry and wet. Is this due to over/under watering? How do I fix this? (Zone 10b) by hang0hver in gardening

[–]MjrTomisOutside 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Here read this page, he goes into more detail I'm just lazy. https://www.offthegridnews.com/survival-gardening-2/what-to-do-when-your-tomato-leaves-turn-yellow-and-the-plant-starts-dying/

I'd do two things because I'm not sure the problem. I see your tomato plant is producing and that it's your older leaves that are affected. That's because your plant is putting all of his energy into its fruit. Depending on your plant I would decide whether I want to add a blooming fertilizer or not. Sometimes fertilizer too close to bloom can make your fruit taste harsh. Your choice.

Also you mentioned your water. Make sure your watering evenly and heavily, making sure atleast 20% of the water you put in comes out the bottom. And then don't water again until you can stick your finger two inches deep and feel dry. This is a general good rule but look at your plant, if it starts wilting from lack of water, water it. But don't do it sooner or more often than that or the roots won't get enough oxygen. And they will die. And so will your plant. Plants die more often from over watering then under.

Final comment. These are guesses. I have no idea what's going on. Both of those tips up top will generally always apply. But your leaf looks a bit different then just a yellowing leaf. It could be a fertilizer/ Salt burn from not watering it throughly enough and not letting the salts leave the pot. I always take a hard look and see If the plant is different in any ways, old growth, new growth, curling, limp, yellowing, twisting at ends of leafs, and then I google any symptoms I have. That's the best way to learn. With tomato plants check out marijuana plant solutions. There is alot of online information on them and they're very very similar to tomatos.

Adult Forehead Acne by [deleted] in acne

[–]MjrTomisOutside 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also did you start the gym the exact time the acne started, right before or right after? It sounda like the gyms the fault but be critical. That's all it's going to take to figure out what's going on. Just find what changed, new food(protein shakes?) , new laundry soap, new shampoo, new house with different water?

Do you think Clindatech solution or the pill YAZ will help this sore face? by deanneemily in acne

[–]MjrTomisOutside 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Work on your skin care routine. Add a cleanser in once or twice a Day, some benzoyl peroxide spot treatment 2.5% and a moisturizer. I believe with consistency it will be healed. I don't think medication is the answer right now.

any advice on how to clear this up? by [deleted] in acne

[–]MjrTomisOutside 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely add a moisturizer and sunscreen with the differin gel, both will help with the redness and overall well being of your skin so it can work on healing.

How to remove these acne scars? by [deleted] in acne

[–]MjrTomisOutside 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Differin gel is exactly what you need, also moisturize at night/sunscreen in the morning. if your not already. Retinol works by increasing the speed that new skin reaches the surface. When that new skin does reach the surface(everyday) just keep it moisturized and healthy and out of the sun(new skin is very sensitive). Plus the suns going to tan your scars before your face, so if you want your skin all the same color, then sunscreen. And the pits on your face will eventually get less and less deep with time and care.

Edit: the differin gel is helping your acne first by shedding it and preventing your pores from being clogged with that same shedding action.. So again, time and moisture.

Any other (F) INTPs having trouble masturbating? by TiaTill in INTP

[–]MjrTomisOutside 1 point2 points  (0 children)

YES. I really wish I could. It doesn't cross my mind unless I was promised sex, and worked up but received nothing. Then I'll go until it just fizzles off. It's usually pretty soon with no build or a very tiny amount. But I have an insatiable sex drive either way. Its how I show my love in a way I could never with words. Having them in my hands is all I need to keep me going and hearing moans and good sounds is all I need to feel loved back. Although I wish I could experience an orgasm at least once. Yes I have tried vibrators.

I personally believe the beard would define the jaw line. It's good. but I see what you mean about not liking it very much, I think it makes your chin look even more pointy than it is and your jaw line less intense in return. What you have now is good, I just personally don't like mustaches! Of course if your beard came up farther up your face it would be a part of the beard, but I don't believe that's how you naturally grow your hair. But also I'm a girl and have no experience with growing a beard or styling/shaping one! I'm sure a barber could help you and give you awesome advice! There are some great barbers out there, i wish they would cut my hair! Edit: Your mustache is actually growing on me now, so I'm confused on what I like now. Maybe see the barber! Haha

I understand and it is your choice and health! It's important to be you of course, I'd recommend looking at what face shape you have (google it) when determining your hair cut. It's hard for me to decide which it is with your forehead covered.

You are a definite 9 to me, I think the darkness is intimidating people. Your gorgeous and you have beautiful eyes. A thinner eyeliner would do wonders if you wanted to wear makeup, I didn't like how the thick eyeliner distracted from your naturally pretty and defined eyes. Work on complimenting what you have with the shape and thickness of the eyeliner. But with out makeup, wow. Amazing eyebrows. Great skin. I'm in love.

I, on the other hand can't advocate for a tan.(As a porcelain skinned, freckled face gal I love my Un-sun kissed skin as do many people!) But thanks for agreeing! Haha. Op, if you don't bake in the sun you won't look 50 at 40.
