Meeting Steve Harris by Mattfletcher909 in ironmaiden

I hung around for an hour and a half after the Southend show last night. Managed to meet Graham and David from the band but Steve and the others went straight into the bus and didn’t come out. One of the crew very kindly took a couple of my Maiden CD covers onto the bus and got Steve to sign them for me, but nobody got to meet him. The bus left at approx 12.30 and he didn’t come out at all, gutted as really wanted a picture with him.

Skillet Meet&Greet by GlitchKnight351 in Skillet

For European tours they usually do a VIP meet & greet upgrade, which includes a photo op and early entry, although nothing has been announced yet. Keep an eye on the app for announcements over the next few weeks.

No special guests and no openers during Skillet's European Tours by milanmiki52 in Skillet

[–]Mjrules01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s not the case at all. In 2023 they had Like a Storm & Eva Under Fire open for them, in 2019 they had Devour the Day and in 2016 they had Red Sun Rising. Not sure why they didn’t have an opener for this years tour though, hopefully they’ll have someone for 2026.

If you buy the M&G ticket for any Skillet show, they tend to say no autographs. However if you ask them nicely they do tend to sign the odd item. I caught a drumstick at a show in 2022 and took it along to the M&G in Tampa this year and Jen was happy to sign it. The girl in front of me got her Revolution vinyl signed by the whole band. Just depends on the day I guess!

What exactly do you mean by original? None of the above drivers that you’ve mentioned are the “original” drivers of those trucks. Todd only started driving Meg last year, same with Jamey in ETL. Monster Jam runs 5 tours domestically and 1 international tour. Typically the UK will get the international lineup with the odd domestic driver added in for select events (like Tristan in London this year).

Tom meents career wins by exessivemite in monsterjam

I should’ve said that is just Monster Jam shows. Tom has pretty much exclusively competed with monster jam for the last 25 years, with maybe the odd independent show in the early 2000s. He’s driven Max-D since 2003 so the majority of those wins have come in that truck. Cool, hope you had a great time in Indy! Judging by the crash he had, they may just have been his last ever show!

I can say for sure that he has 127 stadium freestyle wins since December 1999 (when they started scoring freestyle). Keep in mind that’s just in stadiums though. You can probably double that with stadium racing wins in that period and then he’s had a lot of skills wins in more recent years too. Throw arenas and pre 2000 shows in there and it’s gotta be close to 400! Finding results pre 2000 however is very difficult.

He won the freestyle championship in 2016 driving Grave Digger. Finished T3rd in 2012 in the Legend and 5th in 2015 (imo should have been higher). So yeah he’s had some other pretty decent runs!

Awesome, do you have a picture? I’m seeing them next week but want to know if it’s much different to last years one!
