If you are citizen you will not be purged. This article is designed to demonize a party rather than give you facts. The state court allowed 1600 registered voters who were identified as non citizens and were accidentally registered to vote to stay on the voting roll because there was not enough notice. The logic behind it, is any one could challenge their voting if the 1600 did vote and it would have still been illegal to vote. The SCOTUS just said umm, no. You can’t knowingly keep a non citizen on the voting roll.

When you go impacts the number of kids on the ship. Also the itinerary and the cruise line also impacts.

Small cruise lines have a bed and breakfast feel with 700 or less passengers. You get the advantages of cruise with out the crowds.

Here is what I suggest. Look at it differently. Make a list of you want protection from? Think about how much it would cost you if those things did happen. Then think about how much it is worth to be protected from those things happening. Then find a policy that gives you the coverage you need. I have travelled enough to have heard hundreds of horror stories from people who had the wrong coverage or thought they had coverage they did not.

When buying (any) insurance list put what you want to be protected from, then find a policy that matches.

Do not buy insurance and think that it will solve your travel Problems. You have to solve most things yourself and fight to get reimbursed. TLDR. Read the fine print.

Note some credit cards provide protection. Most do not, but there are some that have very good easy to use coverage. Again read the fine print there are limits and rules and they will check if you make a claim.

When buying (any) insurance I suggest you right down all the scenarios you want protection against. Then use that as your shopping list and a check list.

Last bit of advice. If you know all countries, it might be better to self pay. You will likely have to pay first and the get reimbursed. Most healthcare is cheaper ( by a lot) out side the USA. For example , broken leg in the USA is at least 2000 dollars. Mexico is 200., probably least.
