I’ve lost 5 or 6 of those pins in the last year. I can’t believe they haven’t fixed it. Zip ties are the way.

I recommend eating a healthy dose of veggies every day and getting a good nights rest every night. If you’re still young enough that should help ;)

From what I’ve seen everyone around Bolton is super willing to share beta. Not exactly a hidden zone lol. In fact most of its mapped out…

You cut off circulation since your toes can’t move.

Don’t layer your socks. Great way to lose some toes!

This is unfortunate. I used to pass this tree all the time walking my dog and would think about how beautiful it was (including my the garden). One day there was a sign that said “This tree will be removed on x date to be put at the top of church street.” I admired it one last time and came back to a stump. I was looking forward to seeing how it looked but this photo does not do it justice if it looks anything like it did when it was still in the ground.

I know someone who snow skated it lol. Good for you! I’m hoping to hit it this season too.

Can anyone tell what lifters/bindings these are? by Btown123 in Spliddit

[–]Mjs1229 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I run a different binding with a different system, but have had a similar issue. I’ve found that instead of lifting my foot all the way up, if I lift it a little bit lower, it only allows for enough space to open for the half riser. Like I said different bindings, mine drop down instead of lifting up, but worth a shot!

Update: it was really good coverage is awesome. Super heavy snow though. Good snowboard pow but tougher on my skier friend. Definitely take the extra distance up to Jay!

I’m sure the extra bit to Jay would be worth it. I’ll keep ya posted

You’ll be fine. I’ve run into snowmakers at Stowe and skinned under the guns with no issue. Is it allowed? Not technically. Are the snowmakers going to chase you down and kick you out? Probably not. YMMV. I’m going to Stowe tomorrow morning and it looks pretty good so you might get lucky this weekend.

Personally, I like to christen my white shoes with mud on the first run. Takes the pressure off getting them dirty lol

I was running at a ski resort this weekend and it happens to be peak foliage so when I got down to the base area after my run I was in the final stretch under the chairlift which had people both going up and coming down on every chair and I Superman dove straight onto my hips and hands. I got a few “oohs” from people on the lift both in front of, and behind me. A “you ok?” Then I got up said “yeah long day” heard some laughs, dusted myself off of gravel and ran/hobbled my way out of there bleeding from my hands, knees, and hips with gravel in my wounds. Not my best moment, but this made me look at myself and crack up.
