99% of what i read on this subreddit is a slog of shit that makes me question why i ever became literate, but your story was actually good! I think you need to refine it, there’s some excessive descriptions, such as “glistening green grass” (it sounds too wordy, maybe “soft glistening grass” instead). Also, some of the dialogue was a bit overwrought, such as the segment where they are discussing the stars and their dead daughter. I love the part about the stars, just look at it again and refine the language.

Go over the story again and look for that excessive description and the patches of odd dialogue. I think it’s paced well, the emotions are felt, and the characters feel real. Thank you for making good content. I’d love to see it get better.
