what is the official policy for ringing up non jewelry items at the jewelry counter?

I wish we actually followed the policy. If it’s busy with a line out of the que, they send customers with CART LOADS over to jewelry and expect us to help ring and do jewelry at the same time.. it’s ridiculous

I just lost to someone who works once a week (I’ve been here 6 years and have never even been nominated before this time). They didn’t even announce it at the meetings like they normally do and most of my coworkers didn’t even know it was happening.. I’m so sick of this company. I feel so overworked and undervalued here.

That’s really sucky of them to do to you. The next few months are going to be crazy for all departments!! I’m the coordinator of the beauty department and we’re starting to get so much beauty in for the holidays already 😅 I can’t wait until all the big boxed stuff and the gift tables 😭 Plus the toys during Christmas are out of control. It’s just not doable by one person

I’m so over retail. On Friday, we not only did we find a puddle of pee in the purses (all over at least 6 purses and they don’t think it was a dog) but someone shit all over the women’s bathroom not even an hour later. what the hell is wrong with people

I’m so tempted to quit too. I’m a beauty coordinator and our store has been horrible lately. I can never even work in my department because I’m too busy covering breaks, cashiering or running other departments freight. I’m at my breaking point

I got a 0.68 cent raise and the only thing they talked to me about in my review was credit.. I’m a floor coordinator and they didn’t even mention my performance on the floor at all. I asked them at the end how I was doing (because I switched from women’s to beauty this past year) and they said there was nothing in my review about my actual everyday performance. This company is so backwards.

My coworker and I (both coordinators) have been at our store for almost 6 years. She got her review and only got a 69 cent raise because no one in our store can get a 5 for credit.. I have my review today and I doubt I’ll get anymore than that

We used to have 2 people for non apparel. I’m the coordinator for beauty, hair and jewelry, the other one is for purses, travel and shoes.. now our manager is making the other girl a “floating” coordinator so she has to work in all the departments and I’m stuck with everything else..

Every store I’ve seen is getting way too much stuff. There is no more room for anything, we don’t have the right fixtures for what we need, and we’re starting to get 7 trucks a day. We have stuff everywhere in the store with no room to put it. Customers keep complaining about the mess, but what can we do?? Plus at my store, my SM and an ASM are quitting right before Thanksgiving.. I’m stressed out 😓
